The Marshal\u2019s Museum, Inc. must deal with narratives\ndisseminated by the media and Marshal\u2019s Promotion Committee, none of which make\nany sense, (on purpose?). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Private enterprise defined by Webster: belonging to, not\nopen to, intended for or controlled by the public not holding public office<\/strong>. \nExample: Mayor George McGill will allegedly select the 5 members\ncomprising the yet to be named \u201cPublic Facilities Board\u201d. Mayor McGill, are the\n5 members you are going to pick been submitted to you by Griffin, Sicard, the\nCity Board, or others?  It appears from\nWebster\u2019s definition that you are in defiance of the phrase \u201cprivate\nenterprise\u201d which the MM was advertised to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the MM, Inc. is claiming non-profit 501c3 status they are\nuntruthful and thieves, simply because they have manipulated politicians to the\ntune of at least $36,352,000 tax dollars, plus Commemoratives, New Market Tax\nCredits and the building site.  So is the\nMM, Inc. a For-Profit or a Non-Profit; because they gave grazed on both sides\nof the fence?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the issue passes, and the newly appointed \u201cPublic\nFacilities Board\u201d is commissioned, with their anticipated 1% sales tax for $17\nmillion or more<\/strong>, the Facilities\nBoard will purchase the MM, Inc. and will not, nor the city of fort Smith be\nresponsible for any future operating costs of the MM\u2014then who? This gibberish,\nwhatever it means, can all be changed with a wink and a nod without taxpayer\noversight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Director Lorenz, in a Dec. 20, 2018 Board Meeting,\n\u201cFort Smith will get 100% of the benefits and pay about 50% of the tax\u201d\u2014another\ncontradiction\u2014please explain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now is it time the prime movers Griffin, Sicard, &\nWestphal take center stage and sing the song \u201cKing of the Road\u201d\u2026MM \u201cfor sale\n(again) or rent\u201d?  What is the end game\nin this MM Maze?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the assets listed above and not knowing the value of\nthe New Market Tax Credits, pledges, seed money, building site, cash on hand,\nand other possible grants, it is fair to say the downtown Cabal has \u201craised\u201d\nseveral million north of 50.   This\ncoupled to the fact they have the gall to order the City Board to make a\nSpecial tax vote available, which shows no respect for the taxpaying public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the Special tax passes, is there some government agency\nin the market to buy this Star Wars production and have the 3 (perhaps others)\nin the downtown gang called in their first marker from the Mayor?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Somehow the word Fraud keeps coming to mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
