Huckabee has lied so much for so long that it is questionable if he is aware of his traceable, ever-changing positions, accompanied by his hubris,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday afternoon, Mike Huckabee denied<\/a> that he ever supported a mandatory cap-and-trade program to reduce greenhouse pollution. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I never did support<\/a> and never would support it \u00e2\u20ac\u201c period,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the former Arkansas governor, Republican presidential candidate, and Fox News personality claimed in a blog post on his political fundraising site Huck PAC. However, when he spoke at the Clean Air Cool Planet conference in Manchester, NH, on October 13, 2007, Huckabee was unequivocal<\/a> in his support for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153cap and trade<\/a> of carbon emissions\u00e2\u20ac\u009d because \u00e2\u20ac\u0153it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all our responsibility to fix\u00e2\u20ac\u009d climate change:<\/span><\/p>\n

I also support cap and trade of carbon emissions<\/span><\/strong>. And I was disappointed that the Senate rejected a carbon counting system to measure the sources of emissions, because that would have been the first and the most important step toward implementing true cap and trade<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
