\nfi led against the Arkansas State Police seeking to enjoin that agency from using taxpayer
\nfunds to publish Driver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s License Manuals and Driver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s License Examination in
\nSpanish. The Plaintiff contends that printing these materials in Spanish violates the
\nEnglish as the offi cial language statute, Ark. Code Ann. Section 1-14-117. The plaintiff
\nalso alleges that printing the materials in Spanish violates Ark. Code Ann. Section
\n27-16-704 which prohibits issuing a drivers license to any person who is not lawfully
\nin the United States has been violated.<\/p>\n
