(Catholic Charities alone has received Billions of tax dollars)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3pt; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: black;\">Greedy organizations and ethnocentric groups receive generous funding from anti-American sources seeking ideological and\/or financial goals.&nbsp; color: black;\">Exploiters and enablers are part of a gigantic protection racket, including government (program expansion), media, and academia (all ideological enemies of our Constitutional Republic &amp; line-height: 115%;\">&acirc;&#128;&#156;The National Latino Congreso (NLC) joins Congressman Raul Grijalva and a growing number of national, regional, and local organizations in calling for a boycott against the state of Arizona until SB1070 is repealed.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">Retrograde and discriminatory (untrue) is how SB1070, signed into law on Friday, April 23, 2010 by Governor Jan Brewer, has been defined by organizations from across the country.&nbsp;Law enforcement agencies throughout Arizona will have the legal obligation, not discretion, to interrogate anyone regarding their legal immigration status and proceed to arrest and detain them if found to be unauthorized.&nbsp;(Untrue)The law also provides for a private right of action by the common citizen to pursue sanctions against any agency that does not enforce the law.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">It is the equivalent of a statewide Sensenbrenner Bill, the infamous anti-immigrant legislation passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in December 2005, which gave rise to massive opposition mega-marches nationally during 2006.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">The NLC is mindful that a boycott of Arizona is a serious undertaking and takes this action only after thorough deliberation amongst its affiliates.&nbsp;As Congressman Grijalva stated recently, however, &acirc;&#128;&#156;such a historical action represented by this legislation requires consequences &acirc;&#128;&#147; legal, political, and economic.&acirc;&#128;&#157;<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">The NLC also recognizes that the Latino Community of Arizona (not the legals) has opposed the&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; enactment of S.B.1070 as well as other legislation with a similar intent and impact. It further recognizes and respects that resistance to these laws is most directly organized in Arizona and supported by allies throughout the country. The boycott, which NLC supports, was called for and is being guided by activists in Arizona. They have asked that we launch our efforts and continue them until Arizona repeals these reprehensible and xenophobic laws&acirc;&#128;&#157;&acirc;&#128;&brvbar;&acirc;&#128;&brvbar;.(in other words, lawbreakers should be given carte blanche and law abiders condemned.) <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; color: black;\">The outrageous gall and behavior of these groups is breathtaking and demonstrates the size and scope of this outlaw movement.&nbsp; They are of course emboldened by influential groups like the Arkansas Friendship Coalition and the lack of law enforcement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; color: black;\">Federal law 8 USC (1996) makes it a FELONY to hire, aid, abet, transport, or shelter any illegal alien, with heavy fines and imprisonment if convicted. (Can you imagine the millions in fines and years in prison the Tyson&acirc;&#128;&#153;s would get?)
