Former governor Mike Huckabee served 10 years and bankruptcies in our state soared under him.  From 1898 to 1996 the total number of bankruptcies in Arkansas was 121,859.  Mr. Huckabee became governor about mid-year 1996 if memory serves me correctly.  From the beginning of 1996 through 2007 the total bankruptcies numbered 215,943.  So what do bankruptcies have to do with a governor?  Everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial problems are the number one cause of marital breakups, and family dysfunctions. It is well accepted that divorce is the greatest real estate producer in the world.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Thankfully, by God\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s grace, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve never been through bankruptcy, but close relatives have during the Huckabee era.  <\/span><\/p>\n

It doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t take a Magna Cum Laud as Mr. Huckabee was in our OBU class of \u00e2\u20ac\u212276 to understand who profits from bankruptcies.  Neither does it take a Nobel Prize in economics to understand that when bankers prosper, they must pay the piper.  You could ask my old classmate Jim McDougal, but it cost him his life.  <\/span><\/p>\n

President George Bush\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s financial appointee\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s bankrupted this nation in 2008 and put Barak Obama in the presidency.  And we think little George, whom Mike Huckabee put in the president\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s office by breaking federal election commission rules didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t receive palms from the bailout of Wall Street banks?<\/span><\/p>\n

Where, oh where is a 21st<\/sup> century governor Nehemiah?  Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t read Nehemiah 5.<\/span><\/p>\n

Governor Huckabee has three candidates in the U.S. Senate race in Arkansas.  Curtis Coleman, one of my old college buddies whose dad was one of my Bible teachers at CBC was Huckabee\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 1992 U.S. Senate campaign manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah Huckabee, Mike\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s daughter is John Boozman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s campaign manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alice Stewart, Huck\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jogging soul partner and press secretary is Gilbert Bakers campaign manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Senator Jim Holt introduced a bill in the senate to cut off all state funds to illegal residents above age 14, Huck went ballistic and said he and Holt did not drink the same \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Jesus juice\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.  While Huckabee was driving Arkansas citizens bankrupt he was illegally establishing a Mexican Consulate in Little Rock which is an alien clearing house.<\/span><\/p>\n
