Governor Mike Beebe (Tyson\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Birdman of Arkansas) is on the
\nmove.   <\/span>Two stories appearing today in
\nthe Ark. Democrat-Gazette & the Fort Smith Times Record are indeed eye-openers.<\/p>\n

Beebe has the word from the Arkansas insiders that it is
\ntime to push for a severance tax increase. <\/p>\n

Here is the Zinger. 
\n<\/span>This zinger is absolutely on par with his reasons for not securing our
\nstate borders preventing the illegal Mexican and OTM invasion\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6you know the one;
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u0153legal is legal, illegal is illegal, and we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got to find what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s legal\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.  <\/span>Now to the latest zinger, he says, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Arkansas\u00e2\u20ac\u2122
\nseverance tax is so low, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s unfair\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, and the production companies should pay
\nmore.  <\/span>Followed by \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d rather lose than
\nsuccumb to something that in effect, just isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t fair\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.  <\/span>Unfair to whom?<\/p>\n

Of course, this is exactly the non-logic you come to expect
\nfrom people who have been on the taxpayer teat their whole life.<\/p>\n

More linguistic pearls. 
\n<\/span>After my FOI of the state\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s new airplane, a King Air, regarding logs,
\ntravel, participants, and reasons for the use of said airplane, and pointing
\nout to the State Police if they did not comply to FARS 91 (a commercial
\nlicense) they would be in violation of Air Transportation laws. At this
\njuncture, the governor appears not to have used the King Air for personal use,
\nnor should he. <\/p>\n

A financial report filed by Gov. Beebe shows the governor
\nreceived 4 free airplane flights in his first year as governor.  <\/span>He never said what his extended trip to
\nTraverse City, Michigan in the new King Air was all about.   <\/span>Back to the 4 trips\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6he flew to Washington on
\na jet owned by Tom Schueck, owner of Lexicon, Inc., followed by a trip paid for
\nby the Ark. Democrat Party for a Democrat Governor\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Association Conference in
\nPhoenix, AZ.  <\/span>As I recall the governor
\nwas accompanied by his chicken shill Morill Harriman.   <\/span>Alltel Corp. (a principal in the Fascist
\norganization \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Arkansas Friendship Coalition\u00e2\u20ac\u009d) paid for Beebe\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s trip to
\nArlington, VA. to salute the state\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s congressional delegation.  <\/span>(Who in their right mind would salute those
\ncriminals? And what was the REAL reason?) <\/p>\n

Now comes another example of the mindset of welfare
\nrecipients, e.g. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153free\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.  <\/span> <\/span>The Univ. of Arkansas in Fayetteville flew the
\nGov. to speak to the N.W. Arkansas\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Political Animals Club\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as the 4th<\/sup>
\ntrip.  <\/span>The 4th<\/sup> trip entailed a
\nflight from Fayetteville, to Little Rock, to Fayetteville, to Little Rock, to
\nFayetteville.  <\/span>Economic accountability is
\nnot a priority for criminal, parasitic bureaucrats and politicians. <\/p>\n

Governor, who do you think owns the airplane that former
\nChancellor John White was so willing to put into the air for your personal
\nuse?  <\/span>Is it not the same taxpayers who
\nown the State Police plane?<\/p>\n

I will be FOIing on a regular basis for the logs of both
\naircraft\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthe university and the state police, and the purpose of the flights,
\npassengers on board,  <\/span>etc. to keep you \u00e2\u20ac\u0153elitists\u00e2\u20ac\u009d
\nin the public spotlight. <\/p>\n

Gov. Beebe, I would again suggest you load up on Cessna 172\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s
\nthat are under state police control for your Arkansas \u00e2\u20ac\u0153official\u00e2\u20ac\u009d business
\njunkets.  <\/span>You never need more than 2-3
\naides to accompany, any more is fat baggage. 
\n<\/span>And by the way, $100 per hour for a Cessna is substantially easier on us
\ntaxpayers than $1,000 per hour for the King Air.<\/p>\n
