All the Candidates are calling for it…but from what to
\nwhat?<\/p>\n

\ndictionary defines “change” in the following way:  <\/span>Change:<\/span> 1. a.<\/span> To cause to be different: b.<\/span> To give a completely different form or appearance to;
\ntransform: <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The four most prominent
\nliberal candidates running for the 2008 nomination for President (Barrack
\nObama, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Mike Huckabee) have been singing from
\nthe oldest hymnal in the church of candidacy since the beginning of the
\ncampaign.  <\/span>This piece of political
\nrhetoric has been around since voting began. 
\n<\/span>Let’s take a closer look at what is really the status quo in the United
\nStates and what would truly “cause (our
\ngovernment) to be different”.<\/p>\n

<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Just so we know we’re on the
\nsame page as to “change” and “status quo” I will add here the same dictionary’s
\ndefinition of “status quo”:  <\/span>status
\nquo<\/span>: noun  <\/span><\/span>The existing condition or state of
\naffairs. <\/p>\n

<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Currently in the
\nUnited States our status quo is socialism. 
\n<\/span>(a stage
\nof society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and
\ndistinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.
\n– <\/em><\/span>Merriam-Webster online dictionary).  <\/span>“Change”, then, would consist of a
\ntransposition from “a stage in government
\ntheory of socialism to capitalism, distinguished by freedom, private property
\nand equal rights for all and pay according to productivity. – <\/em>Bright’s on
\ndemand Common Sense Dictionary.)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

How many of the four
\nliberals I have listed above are truly wanting change?   <\/span>On a comparative test the only answer needed
\nis “none of the above”.  <\/span>Let’s take a
\nlook at who’s calling for what kind of change:<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Clinton:  <\/span>Hillary is campaigning on promises to
\nsocialize our entire medical system (1\/6 of our economy) by putting it under
\nthe control of mindless bureaucrats which will triple the cost and reduce the
\nquality of the system.  <\/span>She will work to
\ngrant immunity from prosecution for such organizations as the Black Panthers,
\nWeather Underground, (which she championed during the sixties) Cair, and
\nMoveon.org.  <\/span>She also promises to raise
\ntaxes and place more and more commerce under the heavy hand of government with
\nfurther regulation and corporate taxes. 
\n<\/span>Hillary calls this change…I call it the status quo.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Obama:  <\/span>Barrack is running on promises to expand
\nracial quotas, government controlled wages based on racial and gender, giving
\nGestapoist agencies of the federal government the sole power to define
\nindividual thought through “hate” crime legislation, remove children from
\nparental guidance by dictate and put the government in charge of children at
\nbirth, (read his “0 to 5” plan for early brainwashing on the glories of
\ngovernment dependency) and the banning of the Pledge of Allegiance and National
\nAnthem.  <\/span>(He turns his back on the flag
\nwhen either is in play.)  <\/span>Barrack calls
\nthis change…I call it the status quo.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Edwards:  <\/span>John wants to regulate and tax business out
\nof…well, business.  <\/span>He also promises high
\npaying jobs provided by the taxpayers (apparently he thinks that is doable.)<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

He wants to increase
\ntaxes and promises wage and price controls. 
\n<\/span>He defines American patriots as those wanting war.  <\/span>He wishes to socialize higher education
\nthrough government caps and free government tuition.  <\/span>Oh, and another thing:  <\/span>on his website he calls for more respect for
\nour Constitution (The fact that respecting the Constitution would make every
\npromise he makes an illegal act shows his disrespect for the Constitution.)  <\/span>John calls this change…I call it the status
\nquo.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Huckabee:  <\/span>Where do I begin?  <\/span>In the first place I will opine that the word
\n“change”, when used by Huckabee, must mean replacing a dirty diaper with
\nanother dirty diaper.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

For one thing Huckabee
\nis very John Edwards like when it comes to the Constitution.  <\/span>Perhaps it’s his lack of higher education that
\nprevents him from understanding that the Constitution is his to ignore at
\nwill.  <\/span>I have had two personal incidents
\nwith Mike during which he categorized private property as privilege which the
\ngovernment can retract on a “case by case” basis.  <\/span>Hardly an educated understanding of the very
\nform of government we live under, if you ask me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike also claims to be
\na “defender of the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment”, yet he made no effort at all to
\nchallenge any unconstitutional gun control measure in the state.  <\/span>He wanted more felons on the street (through
\nhis liberal pardons) than he wanted self protection in the home.  <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike claims to be for
\n“free” enterprise and privacy for persons and private property and yet he
\ndictated what private business owners could do on their own property by ramming
\nstatewide no smoking bans on that private property.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the first
\nthings Mike did when he took office was to add to the sales tax burden on the
\ncitizens of Arkansas.  <\/span>As part of the
\ndedication of this increase in taxes he created a new government agency.  <\/span>Mike raised the taxes on Arkansas citizens by
\nat least $500,000,000 during his reign. 
\n<\/span>He, of course, denies that using for one excuse the fact that he raised
\n“fees” not taxes.  <\/span>Only a dedicated
\nliberal could claim that dispossessing citizens of their income under the
\npolice power of the state is not a tax.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike fooled the people
\nof the state of Arkansas into voting for “cap” on property taxes for the
\nelderly.  <\/span>The “cap” was easily movable by
\nthe state for undefined conditions. 
\n<\/span>During the process of ramming this Trojan Horse down the wallets of
\nArkansans he kept very silent about one part of his “gift” to the people of
\nArkansas; that was the fact that the initiative raised their state sales tax
\nlevel 1\/2%.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Completely ignoring
\nour Constitution was more Mike’s rule than exception.  <\/span>The reader may not believe this, but Mike
\ntraveled to a foreign country (Mexico) and personally arranged for the
\nestablishment of a Mexican Consulate in Little Rock Arkansas as a magnet for
\ndrawing criminal aliens to the state to work for slave wages. (It may serve the
\nreader well to be apprised of the fact that Mike was propped up by support and
\nfinancial help by several corporate tycoons who stuffed their wallets with
\nprofits made off the backs of captive exploited labor.)  <\/span>Mike apparently thinks repeating this kind of
\ngovernance from the oval-office is change…I would call it the status quo on
\nsteroids.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

At this point I need
\nto make a correction.  <\/span>I listed above the
\nfour most liberal candidates for the president’s office in the following
\norder:  <\/span>Obama, Clinton, Edwards and
\nHuckabee.  <\/span>I wish to change that order to
\nHuckabee, Obama, Clinton and Edwards<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

So when you hear
\ncandidates promising “change” consider that “change” it as desirable as a dirty
\ndiaper.<\/p>\n
