Columbia, SC – The following group of Arkansas businessmen supporting
\nPresidential Candidate Mike Huckabee held a news conference today to respond to
\nnegative attacks from the Club for Growth against Huckabee.  <\/font><\/p>\n

Lu Hardin<\/strong>– President of University of Central Arkansas and
\nFormer Director of Higher Education; Bill Schwyhart<\/strong>– Former
\nWal-Mart Executive and current member Pinnacle Group Partner; Curtis<\/strong>
\nColeman<\/strong> – President\/CEO Safe Foods Corp.; French Hill<\/strong>,
\nPresident Delta Bank and Trust; Gilbert Baker<\/strong>– State Senator
\nand Past Party Chairman; Doug Matayo<\/strong> – Former State
\nRepresentative and Governor Huckabee’s House Leader; David Haak<\/strong>
\n– Former State Representative and Small Business Owner<\/font><\/p>\n

The group released a list detailing the supporters of presidential
\ncandidate, Mitt Romney who have been financing a negative ad campaign against
\nHuckabee.
\nQuestion:   What does $585,000 buy you?<\/font><\/p>\n

Answer:  It bought Mitt Romney backers a smear job against Mike
\nHuckabee orchestrated by Beltway Insiders.
\nThe Club for Growth has an affiliated 527 group, Club for Growth.net, running
\nanti-Mike Huckabee ads in early primary states. <\/font><\/p>\n

–  At least $585,000 in contributions from Mitt Romney financial
\nbackers.  <\/font><\/p>\n

–  Club for Growth has spent $750,000 against Governor Huckabee in
\nIowa, South Carolina and Michigan.
