Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and Minuteman Co-Founder Jim
\nGilchrist have been documented lying to America by the Washington Times
\ntoday after false headlines ran on Tuesday proclaiming Mike Huckabee
\nwould try to remove birthright citizenship from the Constitution. <\/p>\n

The article confirms that Huckabee lied on CNN about his campaign being
\ncontacted about Gilchrist’s false statements and Gilchrist lied in a
\nrelease about Huckabee’s immigration stances. <\/p>\n

Gilchrist put out a press release on Iowa’s election eve, under the
\nfake name of “Perry Emerson\u00e2\u20ac\u009d that contained several false statements
\nand embellishments of Huckabee’s immigration stances. The release
\nclaimed Huckabee would try to reverse birthright citizenship laws,
\nwhich are widely exploited by illegal aliens. <\/p>\n

“We are doing our best to get the truth about these lies, and the
\nhidden amnesty component of the Huckabee immigration plan to the
\npublic,” says William Gheen of ALIPAC. “So far, the majority of the
\nnational media is not reporting these facts and voters wonder why they
\nare hearing the news from us instead of CNN and Fox. This is a grand
\nnational deception in motion and it is absolutely blasphemous that
\nvoters are being deceived on a massive scale.” <\/p>\n

ALIPAC launched a campaign to warn voters about Huckabee’s statements
\non Fox News on Dec. 9 2007, where Huckabee stated illegal aliens could
\nleave the US and return within days permanently and legally. This
\ninformation was only reported once on Fox and is not included in
\nHuckabee’s distributed immigration plan. The national media is not
\ntelling voters that over 84 immigration enforcement organizations,
\nincluding multiple Minuteman groups, have rebuked Gilchrist’s
\nendorsement of Huckabee. <\/p>\n

“When lies of this scale go unchecked by the media, it is no wonder
\nthat our nation is in such great peril today,” said William Gheen. “The
\nHuckabee and Gilchrist immigration deception is a national disaster in
\nmotion that will have far reaching negative ramifications for America.
\nMike Huckabee and Jim Gilchrist are successfully deceiving American
\nvoters and they must be stopped.” <\/p>\n

\nArticles, copies of the video of Huckabee’s “illegals back in days”
\ncomments, and the letter signed by the vast majority of groups fighting
