FOI response from Arkansas State Police regarding usage of
\nthe Spanish language in various advertising forms and associated costs.<\/span><\/p>\n

August 23, 2007 Arkansas State Police let a contract to
\nPhillips Brothers Printers, Springfield, IL. for 50,000 copies of a 60 page
\ncolor brochure in Spanish which serves as a study guide for Arkansas driver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s
\nlicenses.  <\/span>Another contract was let the
\nsame day, same contractor, for 25,000 books also dealing with a study guide in
\nSpanish for driver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s licenses.  <\/span>By what
\nauthority do the various state agencies have in issuing driver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s licenses to
\nillegal foreign nationals? In the same vein, why are there 2 page documents
\nprinted in Spanish for voter registration?<\/p>\n

The total of these two contracts was $44,200.00. An Illinois
\ntax of $2, 727.00 brought the grand total to $46,927.00.  <\/span><\/p>\n

The costs for color photography, the translations, the contents
\nand the production of these 60 page books were not accounted for in this
\nresponse to the FOI.<\/p>\n

Three more color brochures in Spanish dealing with car seat
\nsafety, DWI consequences, and Move Over were printed 9\/27\/07.  <\/span>The total number of copies for these 3
\nbrochures was 400,000. These brochures were printed by UAMS (?), Box 3920,
\nLittle Rock, AR 72203, with a net cost of $27,672.50.  <\/span><\/p>\n

These brochures went to five non-governmental agencies and
\nsix governmental agencies.  <\/span><\/p>\n

A 5 week radio\/TV campaign running throughout 2007 dealing
\nwith Spanish spots totaled $37,883.27. 
\n<\/span>It is interesting to note that the State Police Labor Day campaign from
\n8\/20\/07-9\/3\/07 cost taxpayers $420,799.15.  <\/span>Furthermore, fees paid for production,
\ntranslation and dubs are inconclusive.  <\/span>Your tax dollars at work?<\/p>\n

This FOIA pronounces in a vivid fashion there is no end to
\nreckless, unaccountable, out of control spending by government agencies, and
\nmore importantly there is no taxpayer oversight.  <\/span>To compound this corruption the Arkansas
\nState Police, along with the Dept. of Parks & Tourism and the Univ. of
\nArkansas athletic department  <\/span>are not
\nonly in violation of U.S. Law, but also in violation of Arkansas statutes.  <\/span>By the way, Arkansas has a law stating that
\nEnglish is the official language of our state and our republic.  <\/span>Why are these laws being scoffed by the very
\npeople we elect and appoint to protect us?<\/p>\n

From my vantage point, Arkansas government is involved in
\ndouble jeopardy, make that triple jeopardy. 
\n<\/span>They are servicing illegal aliens, by doing so they break U.S. and Ark. Law
\nand steal from Arkansas taxpayers to fund their corrupt practices<\/p>\n

Obviously middleclass citizens are being made fools of by
\nArkansas\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s crime families,\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6.the Tyson\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (John Tyson just received a $7 million
\nsalary increase), the George\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, the Simmons, the Wenderdoth\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s and other poultry
\nbarons, plus construction, landscapers, etc. just to name a few, while
\nmiddleclass taxpayers bear the burdens of the illegals\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 healthcare, education,
\nwelfare, law enforcement, ad infinitum. <\/p>\n

Citizens, are you going to continue to be enamored with the
