Huckstering Huckabee

Yesterday I expressed skepticism about Mike Huckabee’s credentials as an Immigration reform patriot. As it happens Huckabee addressed the issue on Friday in Iowa. ( Huckabee discusses immigration during Iowa visit By JOSH NELSON WCFCourier.com Saturday, April 28 2007)

To an experienced eye, it is clear Huckabee’s commitment to repairing America’s immigration disaster is thin and cosmetic. (VDARE.com italics)

Huckabee tried to shore up his credibility on the issue, which ranks at the top of Republican voters’ concerns, while speaking to a crowd at an Iowa Christian Alliance fundraiser. He… said there needed to be a “common sense approach” to the issue.

That approach includes a physical fence in areas where it is needed and electronic monitoring in other areas, he said.

(This of course is the minimalist position usually adopted by those against the idea. Why not a full fence?)

While he said he is opposed to any plans for amnesty, he would like to see a path toward citizenship for people in the country.

(In other words, he wants the effect of Amnesty.)

“I just don’t think it’s realistic to say this weekend we’re going to round up 12 to 20 million young people and their children…”

(This is the central tenet of pro immigration defeatist line. Those who know the history on immigration know that voluntary repatriation often reached 40% of any given immigration flow – but that was before the magnetism of America’s social programs took effect.)

Tellingly, Huckabee did not apparently mention the crucial issues of birthright citizenship, or the status of English.

Any inclination to give Huckabee the benefit of the doubt was completely eradicated by three devastating articles helpfully supplied by a reader (thanks, T.S.)

Huckabee promotes ‘open door’ policy at LULAC convention Thursday, June 30, 2005 By Wesley Brown Arkansas News Bureau

In a impassioned speech before hundreds of influential Hispanic civil rights leaders from across the nation, Gov. Mike Huckabee told a captive audience Wednesday that America is great because it has always opened it doors up to people seeking a better way of life…
“Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority,” Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter…He said Arkansas needs to make the transition from a traditional Southern state to one that recognizes and cherishes diversity “in culture, in language and in population.”

Immigration bill un-Christian, anti-life, governor says Friday, Jan 28, 2005 By Doug Thompson
Arkansas News Bureau

Gov. Mike Huckabee Thursday denounced a bill by Sen. Jim Holt that would deny state benefits to illegal immigrants as un-Christian, un-American, irresponsible and anti-life…Huckabee said he took exception to characterization of immigrants in the bill and by its supporters as exploiters of social programs….Something that’s not worth sharing is not worth celebrating,” Huckabee said. “This is the kind of country that opens its doors. This bill expresses an un-American attitude.”

Governor Huckabee risks political fortunes to denounce immigration raid By Melissa Nelson Associated Press August 5 2005

Huckabee, a Baptist minister, said his support for the state’s growing Hispanic population has to do with compassion, not politics…Hugo Juarez, deputy consul general for the Mexican Consulate in Dallas, called Huckabee a good friend of Mexicans and the Mexican government.

The governor’s pro-immigrant stance was also praised by LULAC president Hector Flores, who called Huckabee’s efforts for the children a testament to progress in racial attitudes.

“I marvel at the changes in a Southern state like Arkansas where the governor actually called out the troops to keep the schools from being integrated in 1957. What a turnaround and especially for it to come from a Republican,” he said.

“What a turnaround” is right. But is Huckabee a “good friend” of the American people? Not on this evidence.

Memo From Oklahoma, By Allan Wall

Cashing In On Illegal Immigration In The Sooner State

Currently I’m visiting my home state of Oklahoma. On a trip to Oklahoma City, I picked up a free Hispanic newspaper in a restaurant. The Spanish-language periodical is known as El Nacional de Oklahoma. The free paper bills itself as “Oklahoma Owned. Hispanic Owned.” The copy I picked up was dated July 5th, 2007.

Looking over this paper can give one a good idea of what is important to the Oklahoma City Mexican immigrant community and who is profiting from high Mexican immigration into the city.

Naturally, immigration was an important topic in El Nacional’s July 5th, 2007 issue. On the national level, the defeat of the Bush/ Kennedy Amnesty/Immigration Surge bill was bemoaned. On the state level, the passage of Oklahoma’s HB1804 was criticized. In fact, Oklahoma Hispanic leaders are considering a boycott against state businesses which supported the recently-enacted legislation or who don’t support the amnesty agenda.

The front page, above-the-fold article was dedicated to an article about the Mexican consul Andres Chao, who recently visited Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Oklahoma does not (yet) have a Mexican consulate/illegal immigration encouragement station. But Chao is consul in the nearby state of Arkansas, in the new Little Rock consulate So, being next door to the Sooner State, he can still do some damage. [El Nacional July 5, 2007–México abre nuevo consulado en EU]

Consul Chao visited Oklahoma, and got together with members of the Mexican colonies of Tulsa and Oklahoma City. In the latter, Chao met with 300 Mexicans in a Mexican restaurant. He was asked to send a mobile consulate (used for dispensing matricula consular cards to illegal aliens) to Oklahoma every three months.

Chao said he couldn’t arrange to send the mobile consulate every three months but would try to visit a few times in 2008. However, the consul did point out that the new Mexican consulate in Little Rock is there because the Arkansas state government (Mike Huckabee, governor) actually requested its establishment. So Chao suggested that the governor of Oklahoma could make the same request.

Attorney Giovanni Perry, chair  of Governor Henry’s “Advisory Council on Latin American and Hispanic Affairs” said that would be the goal of her organization.

One of the Mexicans present at the meeting used the occasion to bellyache about Oklahoma’s new 1804 law, scheduled to take effect November 1st:: “Everything I do I do for my family, but I feel fear because of the new law”.

Boo hoo. If he were legal, why would he feel fear?

Consul Chao also bemoaned the failure of the recent Senate Sellout: “Disgracefully, the reform [Senate Sell-out] died and it’s sad for the Mexican government that the compromise was not accomplished. For us it is a double worry because we know that they [emigrants] left Mexico for the lack of opportunities and therefore we want to create jobs there [in Mexico].

Mexican politicians say that sort of thing a lot, so how about some action?

You can also learn a lot from the ads in El Nacional. It’s a free paper, so it depends 100% on advertising. The business community would not be spending money on ads if they didn’t expect a return on their investment.

In fact, the ads in the newspaper advertise for a great variety of products and services, suggesting that the Oklahoma City Mexican community has a fair amount of disposable income.

Unsurprisingly, law firms are disproportionately represented.

The ad for the Bumgarner & Goodwin firm tells readers that “Legal o illegal, usted merece tener un buen abogado” (Legal or illegal, you deserve to have a good lawyer). Bumgarner & Goodwin advertises its criminal law expertise, defending clients from DUI charges, drug charges, domestic abuse, theft and assault charges.

Winningham and Stein calls itself Oklahoma’s oldest and most experienced law firm. Just so you know what they’re up to, the firm’s website is called legalizacioneeuu.com.

Other firms raking in the dough from Oklahoma’s demographic transition are Tuan A. Khuu which deals with both immigration law and accidents,

Bryan & Robinson and  Scott & Standefer who can defend folks from DUI and criminal charges as well as take on auto accident, personal injury and workers compensation cases.

Then there are Olivarez & Looper   Brian E. Powley ,and Michael S. Johnson Isaac S. Funderburk IV is a criminal lawyer who “fights for you” i.e, fights for the criminal. Other ads are placed by immigration law specialists Stump & Associates and the aforementioned Mexican government-connected Giovanni Perry [VDARE.COM note: Perry doesn’t seem to have a website, but a fawning Oklahoma Journal Record profile (September 15 2006) indicates her favorite vacation spot is Bora Bora, Tahiti.]

So what’s wrong with that, isn’t this what lawyers do?

Well, yes. But in any sort of real debate over immigration, the fact that many lawyers profit heavily from it ought to be pointed out again and again—along with the fact that many ordinary Americans are hurt by immigration.

El Nacional de Oklahoma also has automobile ads galore, as well as one placed by “Byron’s Liquor Warehouse”. That combination ensures there will still be a need for ambulance-chasing Okie lawyers to make some more money off auto accident and personal injury cases.

No wonder the usual suspects are incensed over the new Oklahoma law.

It could potentially cut into their profits.

Huckabee’s Misadventures with the Lord’s Ranch & Jet Plane

AIR HUCKABEE

The governor’s plane

State Medicaid contractor provided air service. Published 6/15/2006

The twin-engine jet that ferried Gov. Mike Huckabee, his wife, his daughter, a staff member and at least one security officer to the North Carolina Republican Party convention in Raleigh on June 2 was provided by the director of the Lord’s Ranch, a religious-based youth home in Warm Springs that had a conflict-filled relationship with the state before Huckabee became governor.

The Cessna Citation SII jet, which lost one of its two engines during the flight, and made an emergency landing in Chattanooga, is owned by Southeastern Asset Management, a corporation registered in New Hampshire whose manager of record is Ted Suhl. Suhl is director of the Lord’s Ranch.

< Suhl and others connected to the youth home have given thousands of dollars to past Huckabee campaigns; about six years ago, it got its first contract with the state Department of Health and Human Services to provide services to troubled young people. In 2000, the contract was for $140,460 for psychological services; currently, the Lord’s Ranch gets payments for services through Medicaid — about $8.5 million in fiscal 2006, according to DHHS spokeswoman Julie Munsell.

Suhl did not return a phone call, and an e-mail to Huckabee spokeswoman Alice Stewart requesting information about the trip — including whether Huckabee or one of his political action committees would reimburse Suhl for the cost of the flights — has not been answered. An Internet search of the cost of chartering a Citation SII turned up rates between $1,550 and $1,900 an hour.

Huckabee’s visit was a personal trip outside his official duties as governor. It attracted media attention because of the emergency landing, but Huckabee’s office refused to say who provided the plane. A report on the emergency landing filed at the Chattanooga airport included the name of the company as well as an address and phone number in Warm Springs. Calls to the phone number were not answered.

Under state ethics rules, unless Huckabee reimburses the plane’s owner for the trip, it is considered a gift because the travel was not for official business. And elected officials are prohibited from accepting gifts valued at over $100 unless the official has a relationship with the giver outside his capacity as a public servant and the gift is not a reward for the official doing his job. The fact that the Lord’s Ranch’s relationship with the state has blossomed since Huckabee took office 10 years ago makes it questionable whether Suhl could claim he wasn’t rewarding Huckabee. Even if use of the plane could be claimed as a permissible gift to Huckabee, the governor would have to report it on his annual financial disclosure statement, but that isn’t due until the first of next year.

The Lord’s Ranch has run afoul of the state in the past. In 1990, the state Child Care Review Board voted to revoke the home’s license because of 16 violations, including improper use of restraints on children. The Lord’s Ranch officials denied using restraints improperly, and the board changed its mind and recommended granting a six-month provisional license after getting more information.

In 1994, Ranch officials refused to allow state monitors to inspect the home, and a 1996 report cited continuing compliance problems. But the relationship thawed considerably in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and the state gave the Lord’s Ranch its first contract, worth $140,490. Huckabee also appointed Suhl to the Child Welfare Agency Review Board — he was reappointed in 2004 — and appointed Russell Dixon, director of the ranch’s psychiatric program, to the state Psychology Board (his current term ends in 2009). The Ranch is currently in good standing with DHHS, Munsell said.

Fax to Gov. Beebe to uphold laws

Governor
Beebe,
June 23, 2007

Re:  Your remarks at the Holiday Inn downtown Fort
Smith 6/22/07 pertaining to illegal immigration.  You stated “I’m not
smart enough to figure out what that policy (illegal immigration) ought to
be”.  Furthermore, you stated “illegal is illegal” and the “hand on the
Bible”, so let us explore your record.

Governor, you are a very bright attorney and your
position on illegal immigration has been topical at best, or shall I say,
political at best?

U.S. Laws are very specific and delegates authority to
all law enforcement agencies across our Republic.

Barbara has faxed copies of the laws on two separate
occasions to your office.  First regarding the illegal Mexican Consulate
and then again recently.  Whether your office staff presented you with
these laws remains to be seen.

We again are faxing you the laws which deal specifically
with illegal immigration. Perhaps you are waiting to see if the Democrat
leadership, along with the President, give amnesty to 20-30 million illegal
Mexicans and OTM’s, which will certainly give you cover as well as the felons
hiring illegals.

You were the Attorney General and I would expect you to
be intimately knowledgeable in such laws.  You let former Gov. Huckabee
skate on the illegal consulate, which is nothing more than a warehouse for
illegals and a means for transitioning them into the workforce, and I am
reminded of our discussions regarding said issue and nothing was done, not even
a tacit inquiry.

Governor, you have all the credentials of being a great
leader but some of the folks you have surrounded yourself with are questionable
at best and our citizens are now more knowledgeable on the illegal invasion and
going to demand you treat this criminal enterprise with more than snow.

In the very near future I may be able to supply you with
a number of Temp. services that are busing in illegals from Mexico, finding
them housing, locating and transporting them to job sites, as well as the names
of those hiring.

Kindest regards,

Joe McCutchen

Fort Smith

Officials: Lincoln, Pryor, Beebe,
McDaniel, Boozman, Ross, Berry, Snyder, Stodola, etc., etc.

Please explain to the citizenry
why these laws, in effect for years, have not and are not being enforced.

The laws are being sent over
the country to inform taxpaying citizens of the criminal conduct you “servants
of the people” (yah) are perpetrating against us to keep the cheap slave labor
invading our borders to benefit your corporate sponsors and the Mexican
government with $billions being sent back HOME, and to protect your self-serving,
sorry behinds.

The destruction of our
Constitution, rule of law, and sovereignty obviously mean nothing to you.

Citizens: Federal laws not
enforced—why?

The truth about Huckabee…various letters to the editor exposing some of Huckabee’s treasonous actions

Governor Huckabee proclaiming he is very “conservative”
demonstrates where we are in the descent of concepts and definitions. A
microcosm of our cultural/educational decline.  In praise of the Arkansas legislature he says they had a
“fantastic session”.

Let’s see, they further demolished property rights with a
smoking ban (business owners cannot control their own property), they
diminished individual rights by increasing the minimum wage (government has no
legitimate role in setting wages, and it creates another magnet for illegals),
and they increased taxpayer burdens by $132 million more to the failed
government so-called school system (more gun-to-the-head forced redistribution
for nefarious goals).

Not to be outdone by the Tysons, ET. Al. he facilitated the
national LULAC convention in L.R., lobbied for in-state tuition and
scholarships for illegals, and invited the Mexicans’ Consulate.

This Governor also proclaims that taxpayer funded healthcare
(Arkids 1st and pre-natal for illegals) is not welfare. He pompously
flies all over the planet at taxpayers’ expense for his private agendas,
including an inane presidential campaign. What does this guy smoke? Let’s ban
it.

 Is he that ignorant,
or that sold on the Collectivist agenda, or is religion his excuse for
arrogant, belligerent demands for forced redistribution of earnings based on
delusional, dangerous altruism?

Either he hasn’t a clue to the Founding Principles of this
republic or he is a complicit neo-conservative/liberal in sheep’s clothing, or
a mega con-man. Imagine what would happen if people took his Faustian, comedic
presidential campaign seriously—shades of Clinton/Bush!

If Asa Hutchinson is the “Prince of Failure”, ersonName w:st=”on”>Mike HuckabeeersonName> is the “King of Hypocrisy” .Neither
plays nice with the truth.

In October, 2003 Governor Huckabee traveled to Mexico City
and cut a deal with President Fox to welcome a Mexican Consulate in Little Rock
and to provide taxpayer funded services to illegals.

He tried his best to give illegals scholarships and in-state
tuition and managed to institute prenatal care for illegal women. He was
incensed when a group of illegal aliens were arrested and deported, yet now he
says he opposes amnesty, but supports guest worker programs.  We all know guest worker programs are thinly
veiled amnesties.

Why his sudden reversed concern regarding unchecked illegal
invaders? Politics and the growing outrage over the lawlessness of officials,
the loss of our schools, hospitals, language, borders, security, culture, and  rule of law.

Politicians in both parties see this influx of uneducated,
unassimilated slave labor as fuel for corporations and votes. They don’t care
that these people are being exploited by both governments—their home country is
rid of them and wants the money sent home out of the U.S. economy and greedy
businesses salivate over cheap labor, while middleclass taxpayers subsidize
their own demise.

Huckabee says our immigration laws are “antiquated”.
Protecting our sovereignty  and not
allowing people into our country without health and criminal background checks,
the ability to support themselves, speak English, and having sponsors
responsible for them is “antiquated”?
How about the laws which make employers of illegals felons subject to
fines, imprisonment, and property confiscated? “Antiquated” too, no doubt—just
like common sense.

Huckabee and his kind are destroying what is left of this
republic for their greedy goals and we’re supposed to shut up, roll over, and
play dead.  Fat chance!

John Brummett’s column “Bad Mike steers clear of PLANE
truth” details abuse by Governor Huckabee’s use of the State Police airplane.
The Good Mike is “progressive on immigration”… illegal immigration?

October, 2003 Huckabee visited Mexican President Vicente
Fox, inviting illegal aliens to come to Arkansas—a
violation of U.S. law, and
arranged for a Mexican Consulate in Little
Rock
.

Huckabee opines “America’s great because it always
opens its doors to people seeking a better way of life”…another criminal
solicitation.  Huckabee further states
“it is not true illegal aliens are receiving welfare, food stamps, and other
public services”.  Huckabee is a liar or
derelict for not being aware of the activities in the DHS. He continues, “Arkansas provides health
services and clinic employees don’t ask for identification before offering
services”…why?

Huckabee and the complicit legislature authorized the
non-mandated SCHIP program, which allows illegal women, an admission of
criminality, to receive prenatal care with a myriad of extra services. The
result of the pregnancy, an “anchor baby” is granted permanent citizenship, and
welfare until 21.

The SCHIP program was instituted in July, 2004. The total Arkansas births to
illegals through September 1, 2005 was 2,630, 2,210 were Hispanics, resulting
in a taxpayer cost of $6,420,148.23.  The
number of illegals in the program from 9/15/05 to 10/20/05 was I,452 (source:
F.O.I. 10/05) and escalating at a horrific rate…all compliments of the Elmer
Gantry of Arkansas, a true practitioner of altruism with middleclass Arkansans
money.

Remaining in the arena of illegal aliens United States Code
Title 8, Sec. 1324 gives authority to ALL law enforcement officers to arrest
illegal aliens. Disregard of U.S.
law by the Sebastian county sheriff and the Fort Smith Chief of Police in
apprehending illegals, proves Fort Smith is a laceName w:st=”on”>SanctuarylaceName> laceType w:st=”on”>CitylaceType>, i.e. hands-off illegals.

You feel insulated against the illegal Mexican and “other
than Mexican” invasion? Are they coming here to be good citizens and embrace
American culture?  Think again. In five years,
not twenty, if this pattern continues our nation will be Balkanized and civil
unrest will prevail, and government knows it.

Leading the charge are the American Civil Liberties Union,
Anti-Defamation League, Southern Poverty Law Center, American Jewish Congress,
etc,  the engines fueling open-borders
and multi-culturalism, their goal; the destruction of middleclass America.  The aforementioned have no legal standing in
their assault on America, but are effective in suppressing public discourse by
hurling racial incendiaries—white supremacist, anti-Semite, racist, and
certainly controlling the Congress.

NAFTA was the first nail, Central American Free Trade Area
(CAFTA) (Boozman voted for) the second of four nails in the coffin to destroy
American sovereignty. (FTAA) Free Trade Area of the Americas, the third.  Bush’s “Americans for Border & Economic
Security” (misleading nomenclature) is the fourth, a five year plan to dissolve
United States’
national borders resulting in a “common perimeter”. All this under the grand
lie of “free trade” and “security”.  Bush’s
corporate cronies pay $50,000 to $250,000 each to implement the plan, coupled with
amnesty for 20-30 million illegals.

Re: Booming NW Arkansas.
Really? 40% of adults receiving emergency food assistance are employed, more
than 18,000+ children enrolled in free lunch programs, one out of every two in
Rogers and Springdale. More than 1,000 new students in Springdale this year, are they legal?  Fort
Smith
schools provide meals from 3 -21 yrs.
Outrageous.

Criminals Bush, Huckabee and the Congress are destroying
middleclass America
by overt and covert activities.  For a
dose of reality, visit the Fort Smith Boozman/INS/ICE headquarters at 4943 Old Greenwood Rd.
early mornings and witness the invaders receiving “benefits”.

Why aren’t the politicians and policing agencies protecting
American taxpayers from illegal 3rd Worlders and their employers?

Letter to the Editor

How do Editor Greenberg and Governor Huckabee get away with
defying and scoffing U.S.
law? In the case of Greenberg, his kinsmen are open-border/multi-cultural
advocates, while they enforce racism, segregation, and apartheid in Israel. Greenberg,
what are your motives and goals?

In the case of Huckabee, his Faustian/comedic alleged
presidential campaign is representative of how far the once preeminent American
society has disintegrated. Huckabee has betrayed, without shame, all middleclass
Arkansans. The most devastating is his criminal liaison with Vicente Fox that exponentially
increased Arkansas’
illegal Mexican magnet.

Huckabee, in a press conference with the Manchester Union
Leader, made a number of arrogant, scurrilous, nonsensical statements. He makes
it clear that he is an open-border advocate. He used the number 11 million illegals
when it should be 20-30 million.  His
most damning statements, “the country’s 11 million illegal immigrants and the
companies that employ them have created an underground economy.” (An illegal
one) “Without them our economy would collapse.” (A bald-faced lie.)  His actions and positions are an outright
betrayal of all American citizens/taxpayers.

Huckabee did not mention the 150,000 bankruptcies in Arkansas since he’s been
governor (that’s 175% over the previous 8 1/2 years). He further failed to
mention Arkansas’ loss of 32,500 manufacturing
jobs since 2000, nor did he mention Arkansas
leads the nation in poverty. Couple this with the progressive burgeoning
economic and social burdens placed on taxpayers by the enormous increases in
welfare, public education, healthcare, and penal.

Truth and ethics are foreign to these two.

The illegal invasion: Cui Bono? (Who benefits?)

Time was when crime families were defined by who had the
most Thompson submachine guns, society morphed and crime families changed. These
new crime families have evolved from a corporation/government nexus.  The most direct route to achieving crime
family status is to lobby (buy) politicians and exploit illegals.  Subsidized by middleclass taxpayers.

Who are Arkansas’
crime families (oligarchs), the aspirants, and the aiders and abettors?

Do the Tyson’s and Walton’s qualify as crime families?
Snippets of U.S.
law: Section 274. A person (including a group, business, organization, or local
governments) commits a felony when he assists an alien he should reasonably
know is illegally in the U.S.
by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or
knowingly assists due to personal convictions. State and local enforcement
officials have the general power to arrest illegals and their employers without
prior ICE knowledge or approval. WHY DON’T THEY?

Governor Huckabee, in open defiance of U.S. statutes,
made deals with Presidente Fox 10/93 to expand the illegal Mexican magnet,
again betraying middleclass Arkansans. Huckabee stated “America is
great because it has always opened its doors to people seeking a better way of
life”. Legally Governor, not illegally!

Catholic Bishops, actively advocating amnesty for 20-30
million illegal Mexicans, appear to be rebuilding their flock and bank
accounts, due to pedophilic scandals.

The three aspiring gubernatorial Dons: The prince of failure
Asa Hutchinson (Drug & Border Czar), receiving 4-5 taxpayer checks monthly
plus his politically connected D.C. Fortress Foundation, marches back to Arkansas posing as a
conquering hero. Attorney General Beebe pandering to LULAC, “making sure
everyone is provided equal opportunities for success”—no reference to the
Constitution or rule-of-law. Internationalist ersonName w:st=”on”>Win
Rockefeller
ersonName> is far removed from middleclass Arkansans.

Cui Bono?

Joe McCutchen  7/20/05

A Border conspiracy? Absolutely!  Compliments of President Bush’s ongoing
treasonous behavior guaranteeing dissolution of U.S. national borders.   The U.S. Immigration Reform Act of 1996
provides for local and state authorities to enforce immigration law, so states
8 USC Sec. 1324c. (“all officers whose duty it is to enforce criminal laws
shall have authority to make arrests of illegal aliens”)  1324a “any person who knowingly hires,
harbors, transports any illegal alien is guilty of a felony, punishable by 10
yrs in jail plus $2000 fine per illegal alien”.

 Governor Huckabee,
some members of the legislature, and all law enforcement officials have known
about these provisions from their inception, but have failed to act on their
sworn constitutional duties regarding this matter. Why? Some excuses; too busy,
too little man power, it’s a federal matter, but not too busy to “click it or
ticket”.

The solution to the U.S. border crisis—simple.  Send all interior Border Patrol agents to the
border, as the name implies.  Mandate interior
law enforcement (city police, sheriffs, FBI, etc.) to round up illegals for
deportation as the law requires.. Illegals rounded up should be confined in retired
military installations, e.g. laceType w:st=”on”>FortlaceType>
laceName w:st=”on”>ChaffeelaceName>
, preparatory for
their return to their native country and their former employers should be
charged for all expenses incurred.  C-130’s flying training exercises could be
utilized for transporting illegals back to Mexico, serving a dual
purpose.  An additional benefit would
force the U.S.
to dissolve its contract with the Mexican Government which is now transporting
illegals.

Fort Smith,
a sanctuary city for illegals.  Time for
law enforcement agencies to reengage in what they are hired to do—protect the
citizens. Racial profiling is common sense.

Politicians and bureaucrats have betrayed middleclass
Americans. It’s time to clean house, both aisles.

Re: “Huckabee right to blast
offensive bill” ersonName w:st=”on”>Times RecordersonName> editorial
1/30/05.  I challenge the writer of this editorial to
defend the untruths and the innuendo contained therein.

Arkansas’ version of Arizona’s
Prop. 200—SB 206 demands 2 things: 1. Must be an American citizen to vote 2.
Protects Arkansas
taxpaying citizens from another forcible assault on their earnings subsidizing
illegal alien criminals, other than those many benefits mandated by the federal
government.

The Governor states that Arkansas citizens are
not subsidizing illegals, a falsehood. The editorial states “it’s un-christian
not to pay pre-natal care and birthing for illegals”. Anchor babies, whose
illegal parents can’t be deported, and when reaching 18 can implement “chain
migrate”, bringing into our country all their kin.  The Governor, demanding scholarships and
in-state tuition for illegals, increases the magnet—a felony under the Federal
Immigration Nationality Act.

Those engaged in nefarious
activities have no legal/logical standing, hence they employ racial slurs, i.e.
racist, xenophobe, anti-Semite, bigot, disallowing debate. The editor,
parroting Huckabee, stated SB 206 is “race-baiting”, “demagoguery”,
“inflammatory,” “drinking Jesus juice”, is this the conduct expected of a “Conservative
Christian”–Huckabee?

The governor’s meeting with
Mexican President Fox in Oct. 2003 gives all indication the governor is
expanding the Arkansas
illegal magnet. 10,000 illegal Mexicans and other ethics invade our country
daily—drugs, diseases, terrorists, crime.

The editor stated “it would
be closer to the truth to say they’re subsidizing Joe McCutchen and ersonName w:st=”on”>Jim HoltersonName> more than the other way around”. Editor, I
have created and sustained hundreds of jobs in 3 states, and have paid hundreds
of thousands of dollars in various taxes but, I confess, I do eat chicken
occasionally.

 The ersonName w:st=”on”>Times RecordersonName>
should deal with facts, not character assassination. Why would you, Greenberg,
and the Governor scoff the rule of law and betray our citizens?
