Congressman’s Front Line compromise!

Arkansas Congressman Steve Womack’s newsletter (“From the Front”) regarding his vote on raising the debt ceiling and the balanced budget amendment.                     August 6, 2011

Before addressing the central theme of the Congressman’s newsletter, observations can be made regarding the sophomoric title of the newsletter “From the Front”
.
Congressman Womack, you and the entire Arkansas delegation were nowhere near the “Front”, the six of you were no shows.  Only the Tea Party elected carried the flag of freedom.  Your action and the rest of the delegation’s vote to raise the debt ceiling by $2.4 Trillion to be dispensed to and by President Barack Obama was and is a traitorous act which was designed to destroy the remnants of America.   The debt ceiling is now in excess of $17 Trillion resulting in a reduction in our credit rating, and a 1,000 pt. drop in the stock market, all done by you who voted for it. These are precisely what your leaders said the vote would prevent.

You showed you have no political courage and just another big government RINO.  You have been in the taxpayer trough for how many years now, congressman?  That would be the Mayor of Rogers, Ark. with all the open-border, cheap labor advocates, the National Guard, and now the U.S. Congress.   Tell us Congressman, what philosophically do you stand for?

You will never make amends for your traitorous vote to raise the debt ceiling.  You claim “it gets better than dollar for dollar cuts, and no tax increases”.   Both unadulterated lies.  There were no cuts, it was a reduction in the rate of spending and tax increases are on the immediate horizon.

You go on to say “I congratulate Speaker Boehner and his leadership team in his negotiating prowess in insisting on cuts—only solutions”.   Another lie, there were no cuts.  In actuality our former preeminent republic probably will not and cannot recover from Obama’s frontal assault to dismantle our nation.  And you, Congressman Womack among other self-serving politicians gave him the tool, which would be the $2.4 Trillion to finish the job.

You claim that our nation has been at or above 8% unemployment.  The fact is that it is above 17%.  Your sacred cows, and other elected’s are Entitlements…the reason for your cowardly vote, i.e. you did not have the guts to discuss cutting Entitlements, you did not have the guts to speak of our open borders with 25-35 illegal Mexican’s & OTM’s stealing American jobs & sopping up billions in welfare largesse, and the Trillions in terroristic wars around the globe orchestrated by the U.S. government.  Note the last terroristic act by the U.S. gov’t was done unilaterally by Obama on Libya and he stated this was a “humanitarian effort” and would “last days not weeks”.  How many months now Congressman?  And on this subject you crowed about your vote to continue the heinous, unconstitutional Patriot Acts which negate the 1st, 4th & 10th Amendments.  Your profile in political courage is dismal.

Cong. Womack, you speak of “putting America Back to Work”.   The only thing our present government creates is debt, economic burdens, and unrest…government does NOT create jobs.  So tell us Cong. Womack what is your experience on creating and sustaining private sector jobs?

Finally, you speak of bipartisan effort and compromise (one & the same) as if they were the Holy Grail.   When you compromise your principles you have capitulated to the enemy.  On the Front Line you either win or you lose.
