Government school offenses


DIVERSITY, COLLECTIVISM, SCHOOLS, FUNDING, PROPAGANDIZING            April 11, 2013

According to the Times Record 4/6/13: Superintendent Benny Gooden said his “school district is becoming more diverse by the year”.  “We have one of the richest cultural representations anywhere in this part of the country”.  “That’s a plus…our students are well prepared to interact anywhere they go. Ethnically, racially, they will understand the people with whom they associate”.  Straight out of Cultural Marxism

Notice not a word about academic curriculum, merit or achievement…only about “interaction” as though that is the ultimate virtue…if you can’t read, write, work mathematics, et al, but can “interact”—that’s a proper education goal?  Tragic doesn’t begin to describe what is being done to the minds of those attending government schools.

The article reports that about 71% of Ft. Smith students qualify for free or reduced price lunches. (The more students on the program the more funding the district receives) He also states that 7 out of 10 elementary school attendees are “lacking in amenities”…meaning they are poor and fails to mention in this report the huge numbers of illegal non-English speaking aliens that are not only receiving taxpayer funded largesse but are also destroying any semblance of real learning or study in the classrooms.  Assimilation is not occurring because they want to keep their failed philosophies & cultures alive, and the education cabal would consider it “discriminatory” for them to be required to become Americanized as in the past.

Not a word about how American kids are supposed to learn excellence in academics when the class must be dumbed-down in order to pass the underachievers to the next grade.  That is what Gooden really means when he avows that “educators” strive for a “balanced educational program that addresses the needs of EVERY student”. Anyone with a semblance of sense knows the only way to achieve egalitarianism is to teach to the lowest common denominator, i.e. the slowest child in the class. No wonder brighter kids are bored silly.

“One size fits all” is the modern mantra of government schools—from their “no tolerance” rule which won’t allow the sketching of a gun on paper, to limiting competition to that which produces no losers, i.e. everyone gets a trophy…a very convenient contrivance to avoid common sense, case by case individual consideration which requires diligent effort and fairness and it bypasses the backbone of our latter day justice system.  It’s a nonsensical, unjust, easy way out of making judgments based on reason & facts. A terrible life lesson.

Gooden describes critics as always “talking about negatives” and that they make him “tired”.  He needs to know the critics are more than “tired” of the dismal failure to teach children academics while their heads are filled with Collectivist ideologies.
 
Now comes an MSNBC host declaring openly that “kids don’t belong to their parents”, they belong to community.  Shades of Hillary’s “It Takes a Village”.  The Collectivists: Progressives/Socialists/Fascists/Communists are coming out of the woodwork now…they are feeling safe in today’s entitlement environment to express their true beliefs.  Obama said to businessmen, “you didn’t build that”, the government did.  When there are no consequences to criminal acts it is no wonder they increase exponentially.

Dr. Gooden has been the F.S. superintendent for 27 years and is serving a stint as President of the American Association of School Administrators. He epitomizes the “modern day vision” of education/indoctrination and fully understands the methods used to latch onto more & more taxpayer subsidized funding.  The more the school academics fail, the more non-English speaking attendees, the more poverty stricken “needing” food, the more devotees to faux “public service” and the rejection of rational self-interest, i.e. merit, achievement, standards…the more stolen money will be available. If one doesn’t understand the dismal state of public education today and the enormous amount of taxpayer money being flushed down this cesspool, these facts should help explain the dire situation.

Have the government schools actually become a form of child abuse?   Pity the young.

“Education”…The Money Pit


My, how time flies!                        February 26, 2013

Ten years have passed since Fort Smith School Superintendent Benny Gooden euphorically and stupidly stated “We’ll take all we can get” referring to 3rd World nationals, legal & illegal.

His wish came true and now he is whining–and look at the failures.  “Enrolling high percentages of economically disadvantaged students and students whose native language is not English will be disproportionally impacted by the cuts”.  Never a word from Gooden or his cohorts about the economic toll heaped on citizens who are funding the failed educational cabal, and certainly no apologies. 

Gooden goes on to say that he and others have urged Congress to come to their rescue.  Does Gooden believe the likes of Senators Boozman and Pryor or Congressman Womack will or can solve any problem, particularly in view that they have been part and parcel of creating our multiple national crises, e.g. public education?  Government’s destructive attacks on the curriculum and on children’s’ minds is breathtaking. The Communist Manifesto is alive in government schools in that they have surreptitiously seized most parental responsibilities and indoctrinated/propagandized children.

Factually, public education is wallowing in untold wealth and Superintendent Gooden is in the same trough as the so-called “disadvantaged”, i.e. recipients of taxpaying producer funding.

A $16.4 TRILLION national debt (Say Boozman & Pryor) and increasing in the Billions as this is written.  So to Dr. Gooden…quit your whining, suck it up, innovate, accept the challenge, and do more with less (if less is really the case, which is highly suspect)—that’s the American way and trash the Political Correctness that is submerging the young students in government sewage.

Never do we hear any “educator” complain about the unbridled immigration, legal & illegal, which has all but destroyed American culture and heritage and put us squarely in the bulls-eye on our way to a 3rd World existence.

Government Protection Racket Is Emboldened


THE GOVERNMENT PROTECTION RACKET THRIVES            December 19, 2012

More Malfeasance & Misfeasance at the “Big House on the Fayetteville Hill” accompanied by a comment from one of the legislature’s court jesters.

Where else but in a government operation could an employee ( Mike Choate, U of A)  in the course of his position responsibilities end with a $3.1 million shortage (no not shortfall), and placed in another job retaining his salary in the tidy sum of $348,175 per year, plus perks.  Not funny Magee, make that not funny Chancellor Gearhart…another example of political protectionism.

Mike Choate the manager for the Advancement Division, the Big House’s fundraising arm, let his budget officer Joy Sharp take the fall with a salary reduction and transference to some nebulous position.

Gearhart’s featherbedding operation, laced with all sorts of malfeasance & misfeasance, rolls on without any retaliation by the Governor and state legislature. Gearhart struts around like a golden peacock, but why shouldn’t he, e.g. he violated U.S. immigration law 8 USC, Section 1324a, 1325, in full public view with the approval of Gov. Mike Beebe, the Ark. State Legislature (except one, Rep. Jon Hubbard) all law enforcement agencies and no government agency laid a glove on him.  Selective law enforcement, which now appears to be rampant.

Correction please: One lonely cry from a state legislator. The cry comes from one of the famed Jeffress brothers, Senator Jeffress, renowned for his extensive travel at taxpayer expense but not quite the magnitude of U.S. Senator John “the travellin Man” Boozman.

Back to the point, Senator Jeffress made an excellent observation on Chancellor Gearhart’s conduct on the one hand, accompanied by an ironic blunder on the other.

The Senator stated, with reference to “Big House” Chancellor Gearhart and his two underlings Choate & Sharp–“Out in the real world this kind of activity would get you fired”.  Of course, but  Jeffress’ is one of the last folks around who would be acquainted with a “real world” experience, e.g. Jeffress has been on the taxpayers’ teat for decades—school teacher, Justice of the Peace, Ark. House of Representatives and the state Senate.  Wonder how much taxpayer largesse he totes home each month?  The Jeffress brothers have argued that government positions are equal to the private sector in generating taxes, not understanding that the private sector’s earnings underwrite all government, and this guy was a school teacher!

   Big House Chancellor Gearhart should be fired along with the other two miscreants, for this and other operations in which he has instigated and indulged.
Spending other peoples’ money is the easiest job in the world and we have an inordinate supply of taxpayer money blood suckers at all levels…bureaucratic & political.

Education Foreign Aid


WHAT’S THE PAYOFF FOR BEEBE, HUDSON, & WELCH?            December 11, 2012

Another Grand Theft of taxpayer dollars—Arkansas taxpayer dollars transported to Mexico to educate Mexican nationals to work for the 500 international companies located in the rich Mexican state of Queretar.

Theft, absurdity, asininities, and lies, brought to you by Ark. Gov. Mike Beebe & friends.

The above partially describes the unmitigated treachery & conduct of Arkansas State University’s imported Texas Tech transplant, Chancellor Tim Hudson, accompanied by ASU System President Charles Welch, undergirded by the illegal & unqualified interim Director of The Dept. of Higher Education, Shane Broadway and Gov. Mike Beebe. How long is temporary Gov. Beebe?

The proposal brought forth by the aforementioned individuals was partially accomplished by (drumroll please) ASU Trustee Dan Pierce, bloviating that what they were initiating was the first step in becoming a global university and he was honored to make a motion to accept this.

Therefore; what are these self-anointed elitists residing in Jonesboro and Little Rock, AR up to aside from their blatant traitorous attack on middleclass Arkansans?
These pseudo-educantists and smarmy political hacks are dead-set on creating an Arkansas State University campus in the Mexican state of Queretar, as previously stated acknowledged to be a materially rich Mexican state with more than 500 international companies, some Fortune 500’s, including American giant Boeing Aircraft.  Why?  Taking middleclass Arkansans money by force to subsidize and educate a foreign population is at best traitorous. In Welch’s own words “The area is vibrant, growing and affluent, and has a rising middleclass”. The U.S. middleclass is stagnant and moribund. The gall of their proposal!  Education cabals and long-term political activists are all corrupt to the core and have no regard for our state’s citizen taxpayers. Their plans have already been crafted without citizen knowledge and perhaps there are those in the legislature who are not aware of the ASU global anointing. Their plans are reminiscent of Gov. Mike Huckabee bringing to Arkansas a Mexican Consulate which was and is a violation of Section I, Article 10 of the U.S. Constitution to warehouse and transport illegal Mexicans & OTM’s to work sites in Arkansas, Tennessee & Missouri. If their proposal reaches fruition Hudson & Welch announced they would send ASU students to study at the Mexican ASU campus.  At what cost and for what purpose?

The collective sponges offer up a host of untruths.  Under their proposal ASU will use federal funds to pay for the “startup”.  The U.S. federal government currently owes $16.4 Trillion and these self-serving buffoons are advocating for federal funds? Imagine the cost of this bureaucratic nightmare. What Hudson, Welch, and Beebe are demanding is simply foreign aid for Mexico. Hudson & Welch admitted that Arkansas taxpayer money would be channeled into the richest state in Mexico—Queretar.  

 Are Hudson, Welch, Broadway, Pierce & Beebe suggesting that Mexican nationals residing in the rich Mexican state of Queretar are not intelligent enough to create universities and educate themselves?

What Hudson & Welch are involved in creating is simply Fascism. Fascism is a nexus between government & corporations, and the government is the CEO while the corporations are allowed to function as long as they operate under the strict edicts of the government.  Citizen participation? Funding—citizen tax dollars!

This group has no affinity for U.S. sovereignty and individual rights.  They are busy setting the stage for the transitioning of the U.S. into a 3rd World multicultural gulag.  Note: Democrats have pursued the goal of 3rd World multiculturalism for decades and as of Nov. 7 the now irrelevant Republican Party adopted the Democrats mantra—AWOL from the Fiscal Cliff & joining the amnesty parade.  A Constitutional and moral government would realize the economic and cultural burdens that both the Democrats & Republicans have conferred on middleclass Americans and would certainly pursue strong measures to correct these constitutional & legal oversights.   Residing in the U.S. are 25-35 million illegal Mexicans & OTM’s (no, not 11 million) who are uninvited nesters/parasites and soon to be provided amnesty. 

Who still says we are a free people?

The organization known as the “Advancement of Mexican Education” claims they will underwrite any deficit in the first 2 or 3 years after classes begin.  How benevolent, coming from the richest state in Mexico.

ASU projects that the program will ultimately be completely self-supporting.   A bald-faced lie.  When has any government entity ever been self-supporting—never!  Funding for education, all divisions lobby government at every level constantly for more funding to subsidize their failures.

ASU Chancellor Tim Hudson tried to create this traitorous endeavor while at Texas Tech Univ. Lubbock and yes, there were myriads of consultants.  Summing up education in Arkansas—a dismal failure.  As this is being written, Gov. Beebe & state legislators are preparing to dump millions more into the failed K-12 system where 51% of high school graduates must receive remedial instruction before attending regular college classes.

Hudson, Welch would better serve our state’s educational woes by transferring their education energies into Arkansas full-time.  The fact is the educational cabal is corrupted top down, e.g. the Univ. of Arkansas and the Univ. of Central Arkansas, and to be Politically Correct individuals in positions of power & authority continue foolishly and self-servingly calibrate education with taxpayer dollars.

Arkansas State University and a grand scheme to educate Mexicans…using Arkansas tax dollars.

To: Governor Mike Beebe, Chancellor Hudson, and the Arkansas State Legislature.

Gentlemen & Ladies:                        November 28, 2012

I am neither amused nor impressed by the odious scheme put forth by ASU—Jonesboro Chancellor Tim Hudson.

Hudson and his enablers whoever they may be, are proposing to open up a branch of ASU in Mexico to teach 3,000-5,000 Mexicans.  For what purpose?
The arrogance and absurdity of this proposed plan magnifies the pathetic state of education in Arkansas.

51% of high school graduates who enter colleges & universities throughout the state require remedial course work to gain entrance. Would it not be a priority for Hudson to direct his scholarly attributes toward the K-12 system in Arkansas to demonstrate his allegiance to Arkansans?
 
Then there is the matter of cost, which in this case would be substantial. But when do bureaucrats & politicians concern themselves with cost?  Education at all levels has become nothing more than a protection racket and money pit. 

Chancellor Hudson, you were hired to teach American citizens and more particularly Arkansas kids; therefore get after the job you were hired to do.

I can just imagine what your public/private partnership would look like.

You have absolutely no authority to spend my hard-earned tax dollars on Mexicans here or abroad!

What fools we are: falling for the Cultural Marxist school system


WHAT FOOLS WE ARE—PITY THE YOUNG!                November 7, 2012

Is there any honesty in the U.S. government schools, yes there are goodly numbers of bonafide school teachers, however they are neutered by government regulations and “public service” unions.  Another problem is most teachers laboring in the failed K-12 are products of the same failed system that is presently destroying the minds of our children through propaganda, social engineering, indoctrination, accompanied by minimal core curricula. Couple the above with the fact that rarely is a teacher ever fired due to the public service unions’ protection racket.

As the 2013 Arkansas legislative session is close by, Arkansas Governor Beebe and certain members of the legislature are already in their “more money for education” attack mode, offering up tens of millions for “better education”. Since when does money equate with real education?  Neither Beebe nor the legislators offer any clue as to their proposed distribution of the funding. You want to bet it will be equally divided between teacher raises and more grand edifices, neither of which is deserved or needed.

Never are there public discussions on academics and what core curriculum has been castrated and what social programs are metastasizing.

Vital statistics were recently printed in the Times Record regarding enrollment in the Fort Smith school system. Before the identification of the statistics, two comments from Director of Student Services, Randy Bridges, and Superintendent of Ft. Smith schools Benny Gooden.  First to Bridges, “Our funding is based on enrollment” (always the funding). Gooden said…”when 7 out of 10 young people come from family backgrounds whose economics qualify them for free or reduced-priced meals it’s a challenge”.  Gooden goes on to say that “in the school year 2012 the district Caucasian population has decreased to 42.6%, while the Latino population is now 30.5%”.  Gooden continued “Spanish speaking students have nearly doubled over the past 7 years and 24 languages are represented in the Fort Smith school district”. Not one word of alarm emanating from Gooden or Bridges about the absolute collapse of the F.S. district due to the 3rd world invasion engulfing our city and nation. In my view, it is absolutely criminal that the so-called “education” community with whom we entrust our kids calmly and blatantly allow their minds to be destroyed by the faux public school system and these same alleged educators & politicians’ only response—More Funding.  FUNDING FOLLOWS FAILURE.

The educational community has offered no apologies to the taxpayers for their failures, and more importantly have refused to publicly & formally discuss the causes of the failures and the solutions to right the ship. 

Now the big lie.  Superintendent Gooden and his battery of alleged educators are so controlled by federal & state dollars and consumed with their own economic self-interest, that they are apparently oblivious to the reality of the failed system in which they wallow, nor do they ever give thanks to the private sector taxpayers who subsidize the giant government education cabal which can only be described as a huge protection racket in every sense of the word.

The very idea there are 24 different languages spoken in the Fort Smith school district and 30.5% of the school population is Latino is a criminal disaster by design and orchestrated by federal & state legislators and their enabling school administrators and teachers. In the case of federal legislators who swear to defend the sovereignty of our republic and refuse to do so and are criminally & constitutionally corrupt for not so doing.  Why do alleged educators never state publicly that A QUALITY EDUCATION is impossible when there are 24 languages spoken in the system (43 different languages in the Springdale system)?  It would be refreshingly honest if the “educators” would declare the impossibility of proper academic teaching under these conditions.  Do you really believe your child is getting any semblance of a “good education”?

Then the matter of demographics…what percent of the 30.5% Latinos in the system are here illegally and what percent speak any English?  The public is never apprised and most government employees will lie and say they don’t know. The F.S. school system is said to issue what are called “social numbers” which is the way they qualify for federal & state funding and ultimately the “social numbers” are used as social security numbers, i.e. backdoor amnesty.
Government is full of liars, cheats, double-dippers, featherbedders, all driving the private sector into the ground…all in the name of “education” and other failed government institutions.  Their mantra is “Funding Follows Failure”.

The education cabal is nothing but an indoctrination pit and is far more interested in bribing and indoctrinating the multicultural hordes into a get along mode, all by design…designed by the Communistic Cultural Marxist’s of the 1930’s.  Do the research.

Who is really to blame for the dissolution and destruction of this once preeminent republic?  My vote goes to American citizens who are lazy, uninterested, uniformed, hands-out, and stupidly continue to reelect parasitic demagogues’ election cycle after cycle, e.g. Gov. Mike Beebe, Senator Mark Pryor, Senator John Boozman, ad infinitum.

One further point:  Arkansas is a state with a population of about 2 ½ million, of which 780,000 are presently on welfare and Arkansas’ benevolent governor lays the groundwork to put another ¼ million deadbeats & illegals on the taxpayer teat, which will bring the total recipients to well over 1,300,000….half the state’s population.

All the above taken by force with no moral or constitutional authority.  Who pays? You know.

FUNDING STILL FOLLOWS FAILURE


THE EXCHEQUER AND THE PAYMASTERS                November 1, 2012

Bureaucrats belly-up to the bar and instruct the paymasters the amount of funding they demand for the next 4 years.  Remember, private sector taxpayers, Funding Follows Failure.
 
The Exchequer long ago also made his demands to the paymasters that he wanted to add a ¼ million deadbeats to the welfare rolls, but now the Exchequer is not sure if the paymasters can muster the amount of dollars to fund the Exchequer’s criminal desires.  We shall see.  Note the Exchequer refuses to identify the demographics of the proposed welfare increase.  How many legal and illegals are in the proposal, but how could he, he has stated on numerous occasions that he did not know how many illegals are in the state and on welfare—which is a lie—remember that word FUNDING? 

The Exchequer and the paymasters dancing to the attendance of teacher unions are prepared to increase yearly funding into the government schools by $21.8 million per year. Nowhere to be found is what areas of the government schools this money is to be spent, generally or specifically, i.e. teacher’s salaries, new edifices, pensions, or would you think it might be to improve the watered down curriculum?  Remember, Funding Follows Failure.

Moving on to the Univ. of Ark. Fort Smith, Chancellor Paul Beran sidles up to the paymasters’ window and turns in his demand which is $3million more per year. Again, no hint as to Beran’s intentions on how or where to spend his filthy lucre.  Is it more trips to China, is it to purchase a downtown building already paid for twice by taxpayers, a downtown academy for the “disadvantaged”, an “entrepreneurial” school, and numerous other misdirected “visions”?

How long would you think it would take the Exchequer & Paymasters to determine 2 colleges in Pine Bluff, AR is just not feasible, justifiable or sensible?  To further pique questions, would you think the Exchequer & Paymasters are aware or would question the remediation rate at one of those colleges, particularly when the remediation rate is 85% of first year students?  Most of this pathetic number can and should be directed at the Arkansas government K-12 system!  Remember, Funding Follows Failure.

Citizens, don’t you get all touchy & feely when you hear the governor & politicians parrot “the funding is for education” or when they endlessly repeat the asinine absurdities of “making a difference” or “giving back”?  What we have elected in Ark. State government is mostly a collection of self-serving buffoons.
 
On one other note to demonstrate the direction of Ark. State government & specifically the government school system, note Exchequer Beebe profusely endorsed double-dipping Steve Breedlove—retired 2 term state legislator, former school teacher & administrator. Guess where Breedlove’s allegiances lie?

3.    Stephanie Malone (R) –Marketing Director Ft. Chaffee Redevelopment Authority—State Representative seeking re-election. (A twin)
4.    Tracy Pennartz (D)—Navy, Western Arkansas Counseling & Guidance Center, now runs Pennartz & Associates (source of revenue?) counseling business, termed out state representative—seeking a state senate seat. Supports adding ¼ million Arkansas residents to welfare rolls.(Medicaid).

How can the Fort Smith Housing Authority possibly be fiscally independent from state & local government when they are dependent on taxpayer dollars? Are you aware that HUD’s regional offices now have their own police forces? Why?

Government self-servers; all at the expense of the taxpaying producers, in one or more ways.

Educators are the most dangerous in state government. Why? Their unions (AEA-NEA) have destroyed what formerly was known as Public Schools, e.g. teachers’ unions have become the dominant partner in the relationship with elected officials. They set tax & borrowing decisions. Couple that with P.C. language semantics that people don’t understand. Public employee unions negotiate pay & benefits that citizens can’t rewrite (a protection racket).  Public Service Employees’ pay-scales are on average 21.3% higher than the private sector. Why is this? There is no proportionality between government & private sector pay, in my opinion, a crime. The private sector generates the opulent revenues that subsidize government, for instance government schools are likened to a city-state empire, e.g. Fort Smith School Superintendent Benny Gooden enjoying a year sabbatical in Washington, DC from school duties while carrying out the alleged educational edicts laid out by DC bureaucrats and working to expand the voice and influence of a Superintendent’s Union.  The irrevocable tragedy here is simply that local control of schools has been stolen & destroyed by DC bureaucrats, self-serving state politicians and educrats….and observe the consequences—children can’t read, teaching the test, inflating grades, dumb down curricula, ad infinitum—all in the name of keeping the multicultural gulag in a social swirl. Observe Clinton’s Goals 2000, Bush’s “No Child Left Behind”, and Obama’s “Race to the Top” to the point that education is a former shell of itself resulting in a corrupt numbers game.  By the way is Dr. Gooden receiving his salary while on sabbatical and who is paying his travel and related expenses? FUNDING FOLLOWS FAILURE!

Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe and some members of the legislature are fanning the flames to dump another $53 million into the government school system in the coming 2013 legislative session. More money directed toward school edifices & teachers’ salary increases? If so, another crime perpetrated against the producers.

Some of the ways Government employees can & do influence/abuse the system:
For example—a school teacher seeking a state house/senate seat.
1.    Legislative sessions on average last 4.5 months=a school semester, does the district need the teacher? Answer, no. Meetings and travel can easily add up to 6 months per year.
2.    A plethora of perks continues. Most of which are not available to the private sector.
3.    The above practice lends itself to feather bedding, e.g. every school district regardless of size is overrun with deputy, assistant, etc. Superintendents…a vulgar waste of taxpayer money.
4.    FOIA’s reveal that in some cases partial or full salaries are being paid to government employees while the legislature is in session. A case in point, Supt. Bill Gossage, what financial arrangement is in place should he be elected? Is he really needed?
5.    The AR. State Legislature is infested with government employees.  More influence wielded by public service unions, not available to the private sectors who subsidize Government union employees.
6.    Public service unions set tax & borrowing decisions rather than follow from them. All government branches are unionized. Whose interest do you believe government employees represent first—yours or theirs?

Citizens, if you support efforts to reduce the size of government, want no more precious  freedoms stolen, lower taxes; the cessation of ever increasing numbers in government– employment/salaries/pensions/leave times, etc.  a vote for a government employee is indeed self-destructive.  If both candidates for the same office are already receiving government checks, refuse to vote for either, show your disdain for their unethical conduct.

A FACT: THE U.S. BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS PUT ARKANSAS IN THE TOP 5 STATES IN THE COUNTRY IN GROWTH OF GOVERNMENT JOBS—MELD THIS WITH THE EXTREME TAX BURDEN ARKANSAS LEGISLATORS, COUPLED WITH PAST & PRESENT ARKANSAS GOVERNORS HAVE LEVIED AGAINST ARKANSAS CITIZENS IS OBSCENE AND BORDERS ON CRIMINALITY.

Politicrats Pillage & Plunder


The Economic Nosedive to the Abyss is almost Complete.        September 12, 2012

Economic atrocities continue to be launched at Arkansas citizens, this time by UAFS Chancellor Paul Beran & Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe.

 In the first case, Chancellor Beran in his grand bloviating style posed some questions to an “Advisory Board”.   “Where are we going to put a dorm?” “Where are we going to put a new building?” “We have to get some professional advice”.

Why did Beran ask the Advisory Board at its regular meeting the aforementioned questions?  The deal has already been cut. Beran revealed that a $350,000 award had been made with architectural and planning groups…from Rogers, Arkansas, to Michigan, to Colorado. No local flavor? Spending other people’s money is the easiest job in the world and Beran & friends have developed it into a fine art.  They never give thought as to the funding source, i.e. producers, nor do they care.

Anyone who believes educational cabals are not awash in taxpayer funding while our national debt is $16 Trillion & growing, accompanied by $75 Trillion in unfunded mandates is a fool.  All alleged education enterprises are unholy government/private alliances, steeped in failure, while their main achievements are growing government and enhancing their government protection rackets.

Citizens elect and appoint official Boards to watch over and protect the wishes and legitimate needs of citizens, this has proved not to be the case, e.g. Fort Smith School Board, UAFS Board, and City Directors…most if not all are firstly propelling their own private interests.  You surely don’t believe that they are that enthralled with “ouch” public service, do you?
Politicians, and in this case bureaucrat Beran, are busily driving economic stakes into the hearts of the producers!

Fast forward to our 30 year Public Servant, Obama loving Gov. Beebe.

It is simply beyond breathtaking that this man comes out fore square and is willing to put One Quarter of a million more Arkansas residents on welfare. Following that treasonous position he creates another add-on…”I don’t think that it’s very likely that once we extend Medicaid to all those people (notice he did not say citizens) that we will take it away”.  WELFARE FOR LIFE!  AND OH YES, IT’S FOR VOTES. HOW MANY ILLEGAL MEXICANS & OTM’S ARE INCLUDED IN THE QUARTER MILLION?

More vintage statements echoed by Beebe to ingratiate himself to the masses…examples: “I’m for it”. “Folks that don’t have insurance now are out there working their tails off”.   “They’re not just sitting on a couch somewhere just asking for something”.   “They’re working”.  Governor, these are bald-faced lies, you have NO idea who they are or what they are doing.

Citizens, I’ve already said it and will say again, if your trust is in politicians or bureaucrats…you are fools.

The Individual VS the Collective

The birth of another Collective, euphemistically called an “Academy”

The birthplace of this “Academy”, Van Buren, Arkansas.                September 4, 2012

Information regarding the birth and the goals of the “Academy” was reported by Mary L. Crider, a reporter for the Times Record.  Typically, no in-depth follow up questions were asked regarding this endeavor.

The word Academy sounds oh so “swag”, but peeling off the epidermis a much different picture appears.  Unfortunately, most teachers are products of the same failed system in which they labor and in all likelihood they have no comprehension of the academic crimes they are participating in, i.e. destroying the ability of students to function as an individual with the inherent freedom to strive to achieve true self-esteem and pride in self-attained accomplishment based on merit.

The “Academy’s” major pursuit can only be described as a collective—stealing individuality and replacing it with “the group”, i.e. the collective.

This “Academy” is a separate school for freshmen divided into 4 teams with special attention being given to classrooms, lockers, recreational activities, placement of offices, etc. which appears to be an exercise in super egalitarianism devoid of individual competition.  Forget the extraordinary added costs pseudo-academics have excruciatingly bombarded taxpayers with no concern.  A vivid example of the following is a statement made by one of the students, “You’re used to, at school, either being the top dog or the underdog”.  What is gleaned from that statement…there is no competition in the “Academy”, everyone’s the same.

The projected theme, they work as teams, they will be involved in a community-service project, with particular emphasis on projects which affect large portions of the community, this followed up with the worn out bromide coming from the mouth from the principal ‘they should give back to the community”. ..more collective indoctrination, absent concern for the individual…it’s the Collective!

No mention of rigorous studies of algebra, literature/classics, grammar, reading, geography, science, logic, reasoning, history…or any area where the individual must work hard to achieve high goals.

“Keystone”, another expensive add on to smother individuality, administered by two Van Buren teachers, one of which stated “Community volunteers are needed” and the program includes “Job Shadowing”, guest speakers, career expos, field trips, ad infinitum. Indoctrination, indoctrination.  The teacher goes on to state “Part of the goal of this is to be a gateway between students and community”…spoken in true collectivist sophistry.

This is another frontal assault on the minds of children.  A by-design scheme administered by the elite academia and carried out by self-serving automatons to emasculate the boys and rob the girls of their femininity…and every one of their unique individuality.

Once public schools actually taught academics, then they evolved into the corrupt government school system which passes failed students, changes letter grades, teaches the test, removes whole sections from core curricula resulting in students who have no foundation for objective thinking or knowledge, while indoctrinating them in the false premise of multi-culturalism.

Is it any wonder we spent more per student than anywhere in the world and have fallen behind so many other countries in so many academic areas?

Government schools are now not much more than daycare centers.
