Rebuttal to bigotry charges/why taxpayers are so angry

REBUTTAL TO CHARGES OF BIGOTRY                                                                   March 14, 2011

A Bipartisan Response from the 2011 Arkansas House of Representatives—perhaps better described as an ecumenical response pertaining to my email questioning Rep. Pennartz and her vote to bestow more taxpayer benefits to 3rd World foreign national illegals, i.e. Mexicans.

Two Democrats and two Republicans assailed me hurling incendiaries as seen in email below.  They accuse me, among other things, of being religiously prejudiced, making inappropriate remarks, bigotry, dishonoring Catholics and all citizens of Arkansas, and stating I was dangerously close to libel.  The four fail to make any effort to disprove my writings based on facts easily verified. With reference to libel, is it me or is it them?  Veiled threats are not becoming to elected officials.

An integral part of my presentation, it must be noted that the four accusers are all either former government employees, mostly teachers. That alone makes my case. Not in the email in question, but must be addressed in the present conversation: Are three of the four accusers who are presently active government employees, Powers, Burris and Hobbs, drawing paychecks from their government employment positions and at the same time accepting their salaries & perks from the legislature, commonly known as double-dipping? As for the active government employees to be languishing in Little Rock for the better part of 4 months demonstrates they are not needed back home.   Why are they not terminated?

Regarding the matter of Catholicism, religious bigotry, intolerance and outrageous accusations:  The Bishop of the Little Rock Diocese Anthony B. Taylor openly advocates open borders, benefits for illegal aliens, amnesty, free prenatal care for illegal 3rd world foreign nationals which the Arkansas legislature advocates, while producing thousands of anchor babies, which on delivery are automatic citizens, are eligible for welfare until 21 and can bring in their immediate family from their motherland, et al.  Additionally, the Bishop states the Catholic Church of Arkansas cannot survive without illegal Mexicans. In his own words, it is readily obvious the Bishop has no regard for the U.S. Constitution, the rule of law, our culture and heritage, while putting the Catholic Church above the law.  Follow the money.  All can be documented in his official letter welcoming illegal immigrants “Stranger Welcomed” at http://www.dolr.org/bishop/iwasastrangerletter/pastoralimmigration_english.pdf    It is said that Bishop Taylor is retiring and will devote fulltime working on behalf of illegal aliens.   Catholics created sanctuary cities in Arkansas dating back to at least the 1960’s and have active lobbyists in D.C. securing hundreds of millions of tax dollars for so-called Catholic Charities, code word for aid to illegals.

On three separate occasions Governor Mike Beebe proclaimed he knew how much the illegal Mexicans and OTM’s were costing middleclass Arkansans, finally he acknowledged that he and DFA Administrator Weiss had no clue how much the illegal invasion was and is costing Arkansans, not only in tax dollars but in thousands of jobs. Administrator Weiss is the same fellow who lost several millions of dollars a number of years ago and they were never accounted for.  By the way, to my four assailants…I’m the guy paying your salaries.

To my legislative inquisitors: is calling attention to the trashing of the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law by the Catholic Church bigotry?  Am I intolerant and prejudicial for stating facts, such as the displacement of tens of thousands of Arkansas jobs by illegal Mexican aliens while at the same time sucking up millions of taxpayer dollars to promote the illegal alien industry?  It must be said here that other religions are involved in some of these practices, e.g. Methodists, Presbyterians, Mormons, etc.

The Democrat Party regularly promotes amnesty, refuses to seal our southern borders, institute deportation proceedings and fine those individuals and corporations hiring illegals in direct opposition to U.S. law 8 USC.  Obviously, a terrible betrayal of all hard-working American citizens who abide by the Constitution and rule of law.

It would be refreshing if each of you would deal with facts rather than political one-upmanship. As a whole, you refuse to deal legitimately with the many crises facing our state and nation.

1.      The massive legal & illegal immigration invasion

2.      The decaying government school system

3.      The exploding Medicaid debacle.  Beebe refuses to transparently address this issue. Only 3% of Americans cannot fend for themselves mentally or physically and should be taken care of absolutely. There are an estimated 25-35 million illegal aliens nesting in our republic, not the 12 million that politicians/media have lied about for decades, most of whom are enjoying unlimited welfare largesse, then there are the hundreds of thousands of Americans who yearly have their hands stuck out for “benefits” who never ever apply for jobs…nor do they intend to.  We are talking here of generation after generation compliments of politicians. Are you and other legislators intending to perpetually increase the amounts of Medicaid until you kill the Golden Goose which is on life-support already? Are you aware of the $16.6 Trillion current national debt?

You refused to deal positively with the simple bill which demanded cutting benefits to illegals that are not mandated by the Federal Government.  Are you going to tell me that you are being led by moral convictions and the will of your constituents?  When is it moral to take from one group by force for redistribution to others, and in this case 3rd World illegal foreign nationals?  If you truly believe you are acting on behalf of your constituents then you are further out of touch than can be imagined. Or are your constituents members of the Arkansas Friendship Coalition?

1.      Libel = a defamatory writing or representation.

2.       Fascism = a nexus between corporations & government, whereby both achieve their desired goals as long as corporations abide by the edicts of government

3.      Marxist Communist = forced redistribution of wealth

The four of you made a veiled threat of libel, perhaps you might want to rethink that statement.  At this point it appears you have libeled me.

Kindest regards,

Joe McCutchen

                              Dear Mr. McCuthen,

In response to your email of February 24, 2011, we wish to inform you that while we appreciate you sharing your views on specific pieces of legislation before this legislative body, your religiously prejudiced statements are uncalled for and inappropriate.  The tone of your email neither advances your opinion nor does justice to the citizens of Arkansas represented in this body.

The religious bigotry and intolerance in your email along with its outrageous accusations, border on libel.  Catholic Arkansans are deserving of the same respect as all Arkansans.  Your words dishonor not just Catholics, but all citizens of our state.  Further, we would like to point out that despite the rhetoric of special interest groups, some of which you chose to repeat in your letter, neither are Democrats “Marxist Communists,” nor are Republicans “Fascists.”  On the contrary, the men and women of the Arkansas legislature are led by their moral convictions and the will of their constituents.

We respectfully request that, in any further communication with this body or its members, you refrain from religiously bigoted remarks and other forms of prejudice.  We would advise you that while it is your right to express your opinion fully to the elected officials of Arkansas, partisan name-calling only diminishes the stature of the views you seek to express.

WHY TAXPAYING CITIZENS ARE SO ANGRY WITH OUT-OF-CONTROL POLITICRATS             March 14, 2011

Decade after decade, we taxpaying citizens have been respectful, pleaded, begged, cajoled politicians to represent and protect us from the heavy hand of government.  To what end? Respect or esteem must be EARNED, whether from others or for yourself. If it is unearned it is pseudo esteem worth less than nothing because it distorts reality. That respectful treatment served to feed your (past & present politicrats as a whole) collective egos, expand your feelings of prestige, self-importance, and entitlement resulting in an arrogant disregard for those paying your bills and suffering from your tyrannical (no matter how well-meaning) rules, regulations, laws and increasing taxes, while you pay off your political benefactors with favors and funding, such as benefits to their illegal alien employees.

You are particularly dangerous when your goal is couched in altruism and/or political correctness. You’ve grown expert in smearing dissenters who complain about being robbed.  You cite the Bible and the ubiquitous P.C. bromides of “giving back”, “it’s for the children”, “it’s your duty to serve” while you sanctimoniously pick our pockets, and rob us of our property and liberties.

Government boils down to nothing more or less than brute FORCE.  A Force from which our Founders tried desperately to protect us.   Instead of repealing and dismantling an out of control bureaucracy, you proudly, frantically file thousands of Bills in your frenzy to ‘govern” (control) the citizenry, while doing nothing to stop the flow of criminals invading our sovereign state and nation.  And you are amazed at the anger you incur?

Government FORCE is a gun held to the head of every taxpaying citizen and nothing less. See what happens to a citizen who fails to pay up. Yet you delight and take pride in your roll of increasing the death grip held on this state & nation.

You think it fun and satisfying to dole out unearned largesse (stolen from hardworking taxpayers) such as the recent $90 MILLION dispersed to the miserably failed institution of government schools…don’t you read your own statistics?  Funding truly follows failure.

You have the same mentality as Welfare Recipients—you actually believe you are entitled to all your perks and whatever goodies you can squeeze out of the system, i.e. the sucker taxpayers.  Reference the Jeffress brothers/Ray Kidd/et al trips & perks as they sneer at those on whose backs they ride.

You speak of moral convictions.  If your moral convictions include holding a gun to the taxpayer’s head to pay for whatever you deem necessary, does that mean you are free to initiate or participate in such activity? Lots of things may be in your “moral convictions” but there is nothing whatsoever moral about Forced Redistribution and you should not be surprised when you anger and disgust the people you rob and who are sick of being monetary and regulatory slaves to your “moral convictions”.

The most frightening…no terrifying, aspect is that you believe you are right.  As a whole you have no concept, much less appreciation for our Founding Principles of individual liberties and responsibilities and you are self-righteous about your ability to use Force to achieve your perceived goals of “doing good”.   You’ve lived your whole lives blanking out the Enlightenment concepts upon which this country was founded.  You appear totally unaware of the difference between Charity (freely given) and Forced Redistribution (gun enforced) and have anointed yourselves as those in charge of taking money from some and giving to others who have not earned it.  No matter the pious motivation, it is Collectivism in one form or another.

You act like you never heard of the rule of law…Prime example: federal law 8 USC which makes it a FELONY to aid, abet, hire, transport any illegal alien and imposes heavy fines and prison sentences. It also requires ALL law agencies to enforce those laws.  Why is it not being enforced and why are you not demanding it?  Not carrying the premise of an idea/action all the way to its logical end produces unintended consequences which always come back to bite, and bite they are as our state and nation flounder and struggle under unbearable weights of debt, balkanization, moral decay, exploitation, over-regulation, and betrayal of our Founding principles and Enlightenment concepts of rationality, rugged individualism and freedom.

According to our Constitution much of what you do is patently unconstitutional, which means you are consistently breaking the law.  That is no doubt why you ignore our Constitutional Republic and the laws which protect it and our individual rights and freedoms.

Christians & illegal aliens/comments from concerned informed folks.

Churches have become a reflection of our corrupt
governments, organizations, & corporations.  The bottom-line is all
that matters.  To hell with struggling taxpaying citizens, as well as
morals, ethics, sovereignty, our standard of living, our rule of law, the
Constitution and our Founding principles and stock.

Many have become nothing more than an extension of
government school indoctrination into various forms of Collectivism,
self-destruction, and slavery.  Citizens who are forced to pay for illegal
aliens are slaves and the exploited aliens are slaves as well.

The enemies within are far more dangerous than concocted or
real foreign ones.

As always, follow the money and constantly question….who
benefits??

Jean Allen replied:

        You are so
right.  I’d like to take my grandson to a Southern church with a pastor
I can respect.  However, it’s hard to sit in the pews and listen to the
Christian-Zionist heresy presented as if it were the word of God.
          I am fortunate to have
located a website called <whtt.org> where
the roots of Christian Zionism are exposed.  This has helped me
tremendously.
           The preachers are
beginning to “mention” the Constitution and our Founding Fathers; but
then they conclude with the Zionist propaganda that the most serious threat
comes from Islam, rather than our own government (an extension of political
Israel). There is no way that these preachers and their congregations will get
off the pews and fight for freedom until
they stop doing Israel’s bidding and fight our own corrupt government.
            It’s
frustrating and it’s tragic.  Christians don’t want to get into the
divisive Zionist debate;  But, until we admit that Washington, D.C. is an
extension of political Israel in the form of AIPAC, ADL, UCLU, etc……we
can’t fight for our survival.
            Zionist
Christians are being used by political Israel to turn America into an
anti-Christian nation.  Until we can convince the Christians that the
United States of Israel is
more a threat to our freedoms than Islam, we will continue to aid our own
destruction.

Christianity has become meaningless,  We should call ourselves followers
of Christ to distinquish ourselves from them.

Margi replied:

IMHO, the problem with most churches is that they
incorporate under

501(c)3 and thus become a creature of the state and transfer
their

allegiance from Christ to government.   They then have to preach as the

government commands and not address subjects that the
government does not want exposed.

EVANGELICALS: Your Leaders
Endorsed Mass Amnesty Today

Leaders
of most of the nation’s evangelical Christians made a shocking endorsement of
illegal-alien amnesty today in Senate testimony.

Their
spokesman — the head of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) — said
high immigration is increasing membership in evangelical churches and is good
for the economy.

Polls
have shown that evangelical Christians in the pews are the MOST likely to
OPPOSE amnesty. If you are one of them, you may want to contact your church
leaders immediately.

The
NAE phone number is:  202-789-1011 —   Fax number is
202-842-0392

The
NAE email address is:  executivedirector@nae.net
and  govaffairs@nae.net

Please
be respectful and thoughtful in your comments to the NAE. I would suggest that
only evangelical Christians make the contacts.

NATIONAL EVANGELICALS PRESIDENT SAYS PRO-AMNESTY SUPPORT WAS
UNANIMOUS

Rev.
Leith Anderson, president of the NAE, was invited by Sen. Shumer (D-N.Y.) to
testify in favor of the Senate immigration chairman’s push to create amnesty
legislation this fall.

Sen.
Shumer asked Rev. Anderson if many of his colleagues agree with his support for
legalizing 12-20 million illegal aliens and increasing the legal immigration
far higher than the 1 million a year current level (the two key components of
“comprehensive immigration reform”).

Rev.
Anderson answered that there was no dissent in adopting the pro-amnesty
resolution on the 75-member NAE board of directors.

ZERO
dissent!

SOME OF THE DENOMINATIONS & ORGANIZATIONS BEHIND THE AMNESTY
PUSH

Rev.
Anderson described the NAE as:

. . . a network of 40 denominations comprising more than 45,000
local churches located in every congressional district and every state. The NAE
membership also includes evangelical universities, seminaries, ministries,
local congregations, and individuals.

Here
is the list of the denominational members:  http://www.nae.net/membership/current-members

Notable
among the members are:

If you have a connection with any of these denominations,
you may want to contact them and ask if they really want to side with the
U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Council of La Raza in
flooding the country with millions more legal foreign workers while 15
million Americans are looking for a job but can’t find one.

There
is a good chance that even the leaders in your national church agencies are not
really aware that their representative voted for a massive amnesty and increase
in foreign worker importation.

Rev.
Anderson is Senior Pastor of Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie,
Minn.  It describes itself as non-denominational with some Baptist
connections.  http://www.wooddale.org/default/index.cfm

EVANGELICAL OFFICIALS REFUSED TO EVEN HEAR MORAL ARGUMENTS FOR
REDUCED IMMIGRATION

I
would note that NumbersUSA and others have made requests to NAE for several
years to present our moral arguments for less overall immigration to protect
the stewardship of the nation’s natural resources and to protect the
nation’s most vulnerable citizens.  The NAE has resolutely refused to hear
any voice but pro-amnesty voices, as far as we have been able to tell.

When
you read Rev. Anderson’s prepared testimony, you find much that is thoughtful,
including:

Evangelicals do not condone law breaking. . . . Evangelicals
believe that government is a gift of God for the common good. Borders are
necessary for public order. We support intelligent enforcement of our nation’s
immigration laws as long as the enforcement measures are consistent with
respect for human dignity, family values and sanctity of human life.

Evangelicals President

But
then Rev. Anderson told Sen. Shumer that the Gospel requires that Christians be
willing to forgive illegal aliens for breaking immigration laws which means
that:

We believe that undocumented immigrants who have otherwise been
law abiding members of our communities should be offered the opportunity to pay
any taxes or penalties owed, and over time earn the right to become U.S.
citizens and permanent  residents. The process of redemption and
restitution is core to Christian beliefs, as we were all once lost and redeemed
through love of Jesus Christ.

Evangelicals President

Furthermore,
the 75 national evangelical leaders agreed that immigration laws that have
allowed legal immigration to soar from a traditional average of 250,000 a year
to more than 1,000,000 a year are too strict and must be changed to allow many
more foreign workers to enter.

FAULTY THINKING, FAULTY PROCESS, FAULTY ANALYSIS, FAULTY
THEOLOGY

The
staff at NumbersUSA are members of the Evangelical, Catholic, Jewish, Mainline
Protestant, Liberal Protestant and no religious faith. We all believe in ethical
systems that say it is wrong to run an immigration policy that
hammers down the weakest, poorest and unemployed members of our society while
making it impossible to achieve environmental sustainability. It grieves our
hearts to see evangelical leaders join national Jewish, Catholic, mainline
Protestant and liberal Protestant leaders who have already fully endorsed
amnesty and massive increases in foreign workers and U.S. population growth.

We have no doubt that all these national religious leaders
have failed in their duties of fact-gathering and thoughtful analysis. They
bring discredit on their religious faiths from their sloppiness in truth
seeking and their lack of intellectual integrity.

We
call on all NumbersUSA members of faith to point us to leaders in their
own religious traditions who are open to discussing the full ethical issues
involved in immigration.

The
NAE’s call for forgiveness seems to ignore the Gospel context of “go and
sin no more.”

We
do not call for a policy that locks up and throws away the key on foreign
citizens who have broken our immigration laws.  Most of us are willing to
let most illegal aliens return to their home countries under no penalty
whatsoever.

But
the NAE has proclaimed that our forgiveness of illegal aliens should allow them
to keep the very things they broke the law to steal:  U.S. jobs and access
to U.S. infrastructure.

How many billions of people in the world would like to line up
for that kind of forgiveness?

We
have pled with the NAE leaders (as we have with leaders of all other faith
traditions) to talk to them about how mercy shown by governments can easily
create injustice against a society’s weakest members.  In general the
Judeo-Christian scriptures call on individuals to show mercy but governments to
provide justice.

When
the government shows mercy, it allows people to break the rules.  But if
breaking the rules harms law-abiding members of society, that mercy creates an
injustice against them.

I
am especially devastated by the national evangelical leaders’ callous disregard
for the U-6 unemployment rate of nearly 20% — job-seekers (active and recently
discouraged) who cannot find any job or who have been forced into involuntary
part-time work.

It
is incredible to read Rev. Anderson’s testimony talking about the
failure in having enough immigration visas to fill the needs of the U.S.
business community!

I am embarrassed for him and his 74 colleagues.  I am sure
they do not mean such inhumane treatment of their fellow Americans. And I am
sure they dug themselves into this shameful hole with the most well-intentioned
of shovels.

I
suggest that the readers of this blog consider forgiveness toward these
religious leaders while thoughtfully guiding them to see all the shades and
complexities of the immigration issue to which they weren’t exposed by the NAE
staff and the open-borders lobby which led them to this pro-amnesty
position.
