Political Sell-Outs

ARKANSAS’ SELL-OUTS!

U.S. Senator John Boozman (R)                        October 17, 2013
U.S. Representative Steve Womack (R)
U.S. Representative Tim Griffin (R)
U.S. Representative Rick Crawford (R)
U.S. Representative Tom Cotton (R)
Followed by:  Cultural Marxist Senator Mark Pryor (D)

The above named are Constitutional & philosophical unprincipled traitors to the citizens of Arkansas.

They voted to increase the debt ceiling by $1 Trillion (current U.S. debt $17 trillion & $100 Trillion in unfunded mandates), bolstered by the lie that the U.S. would be in default if the Trillion was not raised.  The Six and their staffs are beneficiaries of healthcare largesse not available to American citizens—elitist treatment.

Furthermore; this vote allows for a full blown Socialized Medicine program that will encapsulate American citizens, while providing sub-standard medical care which will in short order be the destroyer of our once vaunted republic. Think: unbridled immigration, legal & illegal.

Senator John Boozman joined the enemy, i.e. Marxist Democrats, before the declaration of war, i.e. the battle to raise the debt ceiling, fund obamacare, and be the recipients of luxury healthcare.

When the battle lines were drawn, all 5 members of the Party of Irrelevance (POI) first retreated, then surrendered with the idea, which is a cruel joke, that they “fought the good fight”…a shell game.

In actuality what they did was live to retreat and surrender another day—February 1, 2014.

At first I felt nothing but revulsion for the 5 Republicans, most particularly Sen. Boozman, and as time wore on my revulsion changed to shame and sorrow for him and the other 4 empty political, Constitutional shells who have demonstrated they have no leadership skills, just pathetic “Yes Men”.  They have no interest in fighting the good honorable fight, especially when the chances to win are slim. Like amoebas they slide along, changing shapes & forms as they view the environment.

My extreme admiration to Senators Ted Cruz & Mike Lee for their courageous stand against the field.

The Vote-Buying Protection Racket

Governor Mike Beebe & Ladies & Gentlemen of the Arkansas Legislature
October 15, 2013

Why are you preparing to provide most-favored status to Arkansas teachers and their ancillary help?

Your proposals smack of the treatment that Obamacare affords the members of Congress & their staffs, coupled with the SEIU, certain favored corporations, and who knows what or who else.

Teachers on average are paid in salary 20.1% more than their private sector counterparts and that does not factor in the huge number of benefits that the private sector does not enjoy, only 186 working days per year, and of course job protection, i.e. the union protection racket.

Your proposals are a slap in every Arkansans face who are underwriting the failed government school system.

Teachers are not an endangered species, they should pay their way. Like other government types, you can’t run them off with a Louisville Slugger.

The fact that you can pull millions & millions out of various accounts once again proves unequivocally that Arkansans are grossly overtaxed.   What you are proposing is nothing short of VOTE-BUYING.

Double-Dippers are a Dime a Dozen

WHO REPRESENTS MIDDLECLASS TAXPAYERS?

Another stench out of Jonesboro, AR. i.e. Senate District 21, vacant due to criminal corruption…a microcosm of Arkansas politics.                October 14, 2013

The subject of the rant is Radius Baker, Superintendent of Valley View School District.

Superintendent Baker is no virgin in politics (a school superintendent). If elected to the state senate he will be in the company of any number of self-serving active government employees, retired government employees and those who have businesses dependent on government, resulting in a packed Arkansas state legislature, both Houses for decades.

Baker is cocked to become a full time shill for the National Education Assoc. & the Arkansas Educational Assoc. while picking up another taxpayer subsidized check.

If Baker succeeds in winning the District 21 Senate seat election he will add to the already burgeoning self-servicing in the Arkansas Legislature. Baker offers no apologies for his disregard of his position & his obligation to the students & citizens of Valley View in his chase for the Senate seat. If elected he becomes another double-dipper. The real crime in Baker’s candidacy is his utter disregard for his academic responsibilities. At the same time he is stealing from Arkansas taxpayers, not only money but more importantly, the trust parents in the Valley View District have in him to lead & educate, and also those who are funding his professional endeavors.

1.    On average government school employees sign contracts for about 186 days per year.
2.    On average state legislators spend in the neighborhood of 150 days in yearly sessions, in addition to any number of meetings, which factor to more than 6 months per year in legislative activities.
3.    Baker should understand that his government school contractual obligation of at least 186 days is almost identical to the number of days absent from said obligations to the Valley View school district. How then can Baker & the Valley View school board justify retaining him in any capacity, much less the Superintendent of the schools?
4.    Is the Valley View School Board going to continue to pay his contractual salary or any other financial remuneration, if he is elected?
5.    Or is the plan, if elected, he then retires and becomes an active lobbyist for the NEA and AEA in the legislature? Surely no one in Jonesboro believes this government employee/operative will represent any modicum of middleclass taxpayers’ concerns.

Not one cry from the Governor, the legislature, or any other faction in the state pertaining to Baker’s proposed academic theft and ethical violations.  As previously mentioned the Ark. State Legislature is packed with active and retired government employees, individuals whose businesses are dependent on government and all are there principally for financial considerations and expansion of state government and the unconstitutional government employee unions.

To verify the claim the state government is packed, all that is needed is to briefly profile the very district in which Baker is seeking a Senate seat.

Initially there were 7 candidates seeking the District 21 senate seat…4 Democrats & 3 Republicans. Two of the candidates were termed out Democrats who obviously are addicted to government. They were Ray Kidd & Gene Roebuck.   Then there is Radius Baker, the subject of this screed.  Out of the 4 Democrats only one appears not to be steeped in government politics…Steve Rockwell.

On the Republican side there is Dan Sullivan who runs a business named Ascent Children’s Health Services, wholly dependent on Medicaid. A quote or so by Sullivan leaves no doubt he’s a BIG government man, e.g. “Neither a proponent or opponent of the private option”.  Sullivan as reported, has made contributions to Democrats, including Gov. Beebe, and follows that up by saying “that’s the way we do business”.  What business? Sullivan has also been in the taxpayer trough as a school Principal where he suspended an 8 year old for 3 days for pointing a breaded chicken finger at a teacher and saying Pow…sounds like Sullivan has a problem with the 2nd Amendment! Sullivan’s statement “that’s the way we do business” is extremely troubling, indicating that he is philosophically bankrupt.  Unfortunately the precise blueprint that the Arkansas Legislature uses as their Bible.

Former candidate Chad Niell borrowed $100,000 from himself for the campaign, therefore who do you think he would represent knowing the fact that his business is also dependent on government—jails, prisons, etc.

The 3rd GOP candidate is a gentleman by the name of John Cooper who has no government affiliations and is retired from AT&T.

Out of the seven, who do you believe would represent middleclass Arkansans? Individuals who are employed by the government, retired from the government or owners of businesses dependent on government who have vested interests in the all-powerful Government Protection Racket, e.g. NEA, AEA, & a host of government unions.

It is incumbent on citizens to understand the motives of candidates for public office, i.e. which will be public servants or which self-servants.

Joe McCutchen

P.S. Out of the seven Dist. 21 candidates only two are not inextricably tied to the government protection racket.

Revisisting the Anaconda/Boozman

CHAPTER TWO                        October 10, 2013

Revisiting the Anaconda in Sheep’s Clothing—Senator John Boozman, (R-AR)

Recall:  The state’s newspaper, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette published a glowing editorial September 30, 2013, title “The Quiet Man Speaks” (aka John Boozman).

The editorial cheered Senator Boozman for a temper tantrum in a closed door Senate Hearing.  Boozman is known for keeping a low profile—quiet & reserved.

The editorial, with all its accolades directed at Boozman, never stated what the Senator’s outbursts were.  Two things immediately come to mind…was the Democrat aware of the language contained in the “outbursts”, if so why did they not divulge them.  If the Democrat was not cognizant of what the “outbursts” contained, then why an editorial about Boozman’s episode?  Curious.

It comes to pass that Boozman yelled at Senator Ted Cruz over the issue of the funding of Obamacare.  As you may recall, Boozman voted with the Senate majority to fund Obamacare.  Boozman continued his shouting at Senator Cruz that “he hasn’t been bullied since the 7th grade and he wouldn’t be bullied now”.

Then the real reason for Boozman’s outburst surfaced.  His anger had nothing to do with the corrupt Obamacare, the abuse of the Constitution, the financial & medical hardships placed upon Arkansans, or the removal by force more of our cherished freedoms.

His verbal fuselage was all about Arkansas constituents attacking him for his support of Obamacare and his reaction to belligerent phone calls from out-of-state activists attacking the senator over the issue of defunding Obamacare.

Boozman has only one priority—reelection. He has on numerous occasions shown his disdain for the Constitution, the ideals it gives rise to, the rule of law, sovereignty, and the economic welfare and healthcare of Arkansans. Boozman has proven to be a pawn & yes-man for the neoconservative wing of the Republican establishment.

ONE HAS TO QUESTION THE WISDOM OF BOOZMAN’S DEFYING THE WISHES OF HIS ARKANSAS CONSTITUENTS WHO ARE ADAMANTLY AGAINST OBAMACARE.  HE SIDED WITH CULTURAL MARXIST’S ON THIS ALL IMPORTANT ISSUE.

Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are American heroes, along with a small number of others, and Boozman, along with many others, is nothing more than a freedom-killing, self-serving, neocon politician.

Bi-Partisanship for Profit??

Bi-Partisanship or an Ecumenical Movement?

To:  Fort Smith City Manager Ray Gosack, At-Large Director Pam Weber, Ward 3 Director Mike Lorenz, Ward 2 Director Andre Good, et al.                 October 9, 2013

Public Service or “public” self-service?  Bi-partisan activity in the mecca of insider-trading, i.e. Fort Smith, Arkansas is taking place, e.g. Lee Webb, Democrat Committee Chairman for Sebastian County & Jake Files, Republican Arkansas State Senator have aligned themselves to take advantage of what appears to be a huge cash windfall presented to them by the Fort Smith city government & subsidized by citizen taxpayers.

What is the Constitutionality, what are the legal issues, and what are the ethical questions involved in Files, Webb’s, and the city’s activities pertaining to the building of the $1.6 Million River Valley Sports Complex?

Everyone supports the much needed complex, but the manner of achieving it smacks of all sorts of inside-trading.

1.    Specifically, where does the city fit into this smelly conundrum?
2.    Is this an act of collusion?
3.    Are Files & Webb’s involvements in the formation of the Sports Complex an abuse of public trust?
4.    What are the benefits that Files & Webb are looking for upon completion of said complex?
5.    Is it legal for duly elected public officials to control and profit from government (taxpayers) subsidized projects?
6.    Why is the City Manager and the Fort Smith Board not willing to transmit all the details of this project to the city & county residents?
7.    Why is the city of Fort Smith not underwriting the totality of the project and/or putting it up for bid?

When game day arrives who will be holding the buckets of cash derived from parking, concessions, tickets, team entrance fees, etc. etc.?  Understand that unless there is not extremely strict oversight theft will run rampant.

To use the over worked phrase “At the end of the day” what is the financial cut for Files & Webb and what’s in it for the taxpayers who are subsidizing the entire affair. There was a time if profits were to be made; those who make the profits totally fund the endeavor
.
City Manager Gosack, Directors Weber, Lorenz & Good, what do you believe Attorney General Dustin McDaniel’s legal rendering would be, as well as other legal scholars, of Files & Webb’s elected positions that would benefit them mightily from the economics of the sports complex?

Director Settle is the gentleman who has the capacity to address the questions in detail to the satisfaction of the voters pertaining to the River Valley Sports Complex.  The question is, will he?

Joe McCutchen

P.S. As is the case, the Times Record only prints whatever the politicians spit out, never questioning the motives, goals, methods, etc.  Why?

The Quiet Man is an Anaconda in Sheep’s Clothing

THE ANACONDA IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING—SENATOR JOHN BOOZMAN (R-AR)
  October 3, 2013

An editorial appeared in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette (Sept. 30, 2013) titled the Quiet Man Speaks (aka John Boozman).

The elongated 2 column editorial frankly made little sense.  The only conclusions that can be reached is the editors’ assiduous pursuit of the following:

1.    Senator Boozman, the usually quiet sheep, did some “shouting”, but the editorial failed to state what the “shouting” was about.
2.    Other than “congratulations” and “bravos” offered to Boozman for his “shouting” and voting for the criminally inspired Obamacare,  the article scorched and demeaned Senator Ted Cruz.
3.    Any senator that refused to vote for Obamacare was labeled Zanies; Purveyors of Embarrassment & Diversion; Irresponsible Republicans; Zealots; Republican Crazies, and Cruzadors (cute, editor Greenberg).  The above incendiaries occurred in two paragraphs of the editor’s unconstitutional screed.

Pulitzer Prize Editor Greenberg, in the final analysis is congratulating Sen. Boozman for being a Constitutional shredder & political coward.

Boozman, by voting for the pure form of Obamacare had his cake and was eating it too.  He knew the Republican controlled House would vote to defund Obamacare, therefore his vote for Obamacare would go unnoticed and if it was noticed he could always fall back on the same tired excuses gutless Republicans always offer:

1.     We can’t win
2.    We have been beaten on this turf before
3.    The press will destroy us
4.    We can’t win the Senate in 2014
5.    We may lose the House
6.    Corporate contributors (who own the Republican Party) will not support us
7.    On & On

The Senator, as is the case with the rest of the Arkansas congressional delegation, has not discussed publicly their elitist exclusion from Obamacare that is subsidized by middleclass taxpayers.  Two words describe their persona… they are members of an “Offensive Oligarchy” as observed by Henry Clay Dean 144 years ago.

When an issue is constitutionally correct and honorable, you fight for it regardless of the odds—Boozman and Pryor are pathetic self-serving cowards.

Thinking citizens understand why the courageous, Honorable Senator Ted Cruz went against the field, he and we vividly understand that once Obamacare is set into motion it will never be repealed, as is the case with all government programs and will ultimately lay our republic to waste, reintroducing nationally another form of HARD-CORE SLAVERY .

Never in the latter day history of our American Republic has any Marxist program been repealed! OBAMACARE IS A CULTURAL MARXIST/COMMUNIST PROGRAM.

Senator John Boozman is one of many who are literally squeezing life’s breath out of our remaining freedoms.  Recent Boozman history:

1.    Taxes: In his 10 year Congressional reign he voted 27 times for tax increases that resulted in Billions per passed legislation being spent—billions we do not have. Both political parties never mention the $16 TRILLION national debt, accompanied by over $100 Trillion in unfunded mandates. The Senator receives in excess of $3 million per year to spend at his discretion. Furthermore; note the dozens of international trips he takes on a yearly basis, taking advantage of world class Fine Dining and Hotels at taxpayer expense. Conservative you say?
2.    Boozman voted for the unconstitutional Patriot Acts on 2 occasions which shred the 1st, 4th, & 10th Amendments.
3.    He voted for the Military Commissions Act which attacks Posse Comitatus & Habeas Corpus.
4.    He voted for “Homegrown Terrorist Act”, that allows the U. S. Federal Government to seize American citizens and do as they please in any number of violent procedures.
5.    He voted for “Rendition”—kidnapping and even violent forms of torture—an absolutely un-American, heinous Act demonstrating how corrupt and uncivil the American policing agencies are and quite frankly magnifies their morally bankrupt philosophies and actions, e.g. by relying on information provided by such insidious institutions as the Southern Poverty Law Center.
6.    He voted for the National Defense Authorization Act that guarantees the Feds the ability to spy on American citizens in any number of ways, most particularly the use of killer drones.  The NSA has just outfitted F-16’s to be used as attack drones—Spy & Fry. Recall NSA Director James Clapper was caught lying when he denied the SPYING on Americans.

Senator John Boozman is a neoconservative—“eternal war for eternal peace”, every bit as destructive as the Cultural Marxist Democrats’ redistribution of citizen assets.  He and his kind are the enemies of American freedom; not the Iraqis, not the Pakis, not the Afghans, not the Libyans, not the Egyptians, not the Somalis, and most certainly not the Syrians—where is the evidence Senator Boozman??? Not to be omitted are the proposals for an all-out attack on Iran’s phantom nuclear projects being orchestrated by Israel’s warmonger Benjamin Netanyahu.  Boozman states the blowing up of all the aforementioned sovereign nations is justified, in addition to the murder and maiming of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, not to mention our own troop casualties in the name of the PHONY “WAR ON TERRORISM”.

Additionally, what is Boozman’s position on the gun walking Fast & Furious disgrace, the Benghazi massacre, the criminally corrupt IRS, the “Justice” Department’s data mining invasion of national media, and finally Obama’s unilateral attack on Libya and orchestration of the overthrow of the recent duly elected Egyptian President Morsi?

His attacks on American youth by supporting Bush’s No Child Left Behind and Obama’s Common Core can only be construed as high crimes against our school age children.

Like a giant Anaconda he is squeezing and suffocating American freedoms.

Term limit extension trick

What was omitted?                        September 22, 2013

Today’s editorial in the Fort Smith Times Record is a diatribe on why term limits should be extended in the case of county judges, sheriffs, J.P.’s, treasurers, assessors, circuit clerks, county clerks, coroner’s, surveyors, and constables from a 2 to 4 year term.   The feeble excuses given for the extension of their terms, “It would allow county officials to be more efficient”, “they can plan for long term budgeting”, and finally “it would allow the aforementioned to learn the ins & outs of their positions without having to focus on reelection bids”.

Translation: learning the ins & outs of their positions is the real enemy of voters.  The longer they hold office, it’s not about efficiency in planning, it’s about manipulation and giving the elected more time to salt the mines for long term office holding and self-promotion.  Definitely not a good thing.   Observe.

So what was omitted in the editorial?

The last AR. General Assembly crafted a bill dealing with ethics, a more rigorous bill than currently exists.  The bill is to be voted on by the citizens in the next general election. So what’s the problem with a bill that increases the penalties for ethical and criminal violations?  Of course, nothing.  It is comical that laws must be passed in an attempt to keep elected officials honest and ethically bound.  Carrying that thought a step further indicates that elected officials are all potential crooks in one form or another.

So again, what’s wrong with the proposed stricter ethics bill? Nothing until one discovers what is attached at the end of the ethics proposal.   Politicians, in their deception by the add-on, have negated any pretense of being ethical and this ploy has been used many, many times against the unsuspecting voter.

Attached at the end of the proposed ethics bill is a rider that would extend term limits for the ethically challenged Arkansas legislature.  The Arkansas legislators fully understand that voters will not read the proposed ethics bill and in all likelihood will vote for it unanimously not understanding what is attached to end of the bill, i.e. AN EXTENSION OF TERM LIMITS.

It is understood that citizens wanted term limits, the reason we now have them.  So what elected state legislators in Sebastian County voted without citizen knowledge or approval to extend term limits?

1.    Senator Jake Files, the bagman for the city’s Big Three.
2.    Rep. Stephanie Malone, presently unemployed (quit government job for fear of another FOI?) and Travelin’ Man John Boozman’s niece.
3.    Termed out Denny Altes who is encouraging his son to seek his position—the Divine Right of Kings?
4.    Senator Bruce Holland, the fella with a big hat and foot on the pedal.
5.    Certainly there are others in the area.

Citizens, keep this in mind, these ladies & gentlemen are not self-serving they are “public servants” looking out for your best interests.  Vote buying, money laundering, manipulations, etc. are in the citizens’ best interests….and of course each of you know this is a crock!

Spying & Frying is now a JOB!!!

TO HELL WITH LIBERTY AND PRIVACY, IT’S A JOB!!                September 15, 2013

Spying and frying cannot be equivocated with jobs, but that’s not what the politicians say.

The Times Record in today’s editorial titled “Area Support for the 188th Still Strong”.  What facts does T.R. editor Judith Hansen have to substantiate the title…more than the city government and the consummate insiders?

The implementation of savagery and barbarism is the wave of our dying Empire, not a Republic.  In Hanson’s editorial she quotes Congressional Representative Steve Womack.  “The new mission can grow and bring potential new jobs”.   Womack’s’ statement is disseminating the message that the spying and frying mission will exacerbate and diplomacy & peace have no chance. Insertion of the drones’ tentacles into sovereign nations while doing their dirty work in America on American citizens, i.e. spying and frying is not the conduct of a peace-loving nation. The “War on Terror” is phony.

Womack: “As long as we can have something that keeps the flag flying and their people gainfully employed”.   Congressman, would you care to elaborate on this politically correct, self-serving, warmongering lie?

My friend Mike Gaddy has written two blockbuster pieces recently regarding “The Tyranny of the Majority”.   The phrase was taken from chapter 15 of the work of Alexis de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America.

Understanding that our country was set up as a Republic, but from Abraham Lincoln forward it has been run as a democracy and gives rise to the fact that our former preeminent republic is on the precipice in any number of ways heading for self-destruction and perhaps a permanent global conflagration.  Observe the politically demented behavior governing our once great nation, e.g. the deployment and use of killer drones by individuals calling themselves Americans and protectors of freedom, as only one example.

The Tyranny of the Majority is in full-bloom in Fort Smith, Arkansas: Witness the T.R’s politically correct, question-less editorial regarding an issue as devastating to the Constitution as the criminal use of drones. Recall: President Obama exclaimed he can execute anyone he chooses using the dreaded drones.  It should be noted that the Fort Smith Times Record, since its purchase of the paper by CEO of Stephens, Inc. Warren Stephens, has degenerated into nothing more than a castrated politically correct communications instrument serving Stephen’s desires, e.g. bonding, newspapers, utilities, real estate, and the F.S. insider community, etc.  It is fair to say that Stephens Inc. influences the tenor of business to a huge degree in Fort Smith.

Perhaps the most troubling aspect of Fort Smith becoming home base to the premiere covert Drone Operation is a lack of public outcry against such an attack on the Constitution, the rule of law and more specifically our persons and freedoms. This is the classic example of the Tyranny of the Majority. The Majority is moribund, as is both political parties. Is it fear, ignorance, complacency or do citizens believe the lies and corruption emanating from D.C. by politicians & bureaucrats, specifically the phony “war on terror”?

John Adams: “Remember, Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide”.  Is this not what is happening in our once vaunted republic?

We are witnessing a failed olio America. Citizens have removed themselves from responsibility.

Beware Warmonger Tom Cotton

ALLEGIANCE TO WHOM???

Who is Tom Cotton?  Certainly not John Galt……but…                September 12, 2013

Tom Cotton has impeccable academic credentials.

Tom Cotton served honorably in the military in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Tom Cotton was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, a Republican, in the last election cycle.

The meaningful profile of the now Congressman Tom Cotton:

1.    Serving less than ¼ of his first two year House term, he was giving a strong indication that he would seek the office of a U.S. Senator, this after an enormously expensive, extensive campaign for the House. That in itself tends to rankle and denotes a strong sense of self-service not public service. If he were an honorable politician and few are, he would immediately resign his congressional seat, but also like most politicians Cotton wants his cake and to eat it too. He has cheated his constituents by his political ambitions.
2.    Within the last two months, he and a number of other newly minted congress people, at the invitation of Israeli president Benjamin Netanyahu, traveled to Israel to receive Netanyahu’s expectations.  In all likelihood this foray was subsidized by American taxpayers.  It must be noted here that every election cycle newly elected legislators travel to Israel for the above stated purpose.
3.    Before the Israeli trip and continuing afterwards, Congressman Cotton has stubbornly exercised his position calling for an attack on Syria, knowing full well that 60% or more of Americans and specifically Arkansans violently oppose war on Syria.  Most particularly in view the U.S. has been involved in criminal warfare for 12 years compliments of Presidents Bush & Obama with nothing but failure to show for its aggressive, unconstitutional behavior, e.g. thousands of deaths both sides, destruction of infrastructure, destruction of Age-old antiquities, costing $1 TRILLION+ !  In view of all the murdering and mayhem, Cotton is still demanding more war using the fear-mongering “terror” mantra.  Here is Cotton’s most recent warmongering effort, “The American people need to know this threat is real and gathering”.  Recall that Al-Qaida is included in the rebel contingent that is fighting Syria and the very groups the U.S. is supplying with arms.
4.    The above statement was made Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 to the American Enterprise Institute, another neoconservative Jewish lobbying group.  Cotton’s remarks were specifically tailored for AEI, noting he would use all his influences to continue Mid-east warfare.
5.    Cotton has introduced legislation, which fortunately failed but is still pursuing, that from all appearances would indicate that it would produce Muslim genocide.

Congressman Tom Cotton is a Republican neoconservative, i.e. “eternal war for eternal peace” and is as dangerous to America’s freedom and prosperity as is the Democrats’ Cultural Marxists philosophy, i.e. redistribution of wealth.

Cotton is representative of politicians who refuse to abide by the edicts of American citizens and the U.S. Constitution, while pursuing his own self-service, e.g. McCain, Graham, P. King, Boehner, Cantor, Rubio, et al.

Exactly who holds the reins that are driving Congressman Tom Cotton—not John Galt.

Marshall’s Museum boondogle

A little bit of humor and a whole bunch of sorrow compliments of the Times Record and the F.S. City Government.

Lead headline in todays’ TR edition: “Directors cut down wish list”.   Sounds good until you get to the 2nd page of the article and what jumps out is a $20 MILLION & counting “enhancement for the Riverfront Drive”.   Not much cut down.

The smell test followed:  Marshall’s Museum, Richard Griffin, Sam Sicard, & Bennie Westphal.

Recall that the aforementioned 3 individuals, along with a host of political enablers, billed the Marshall’s Museum as a private endeavor.  The proposed endeavor turns out to be a citizen taxpayer subsidized …ultimately a boondoggle.

An FOIA revealed that at this juncture citizens have coughed up, without their permission, $3,605,071 hard-earned dollars. What is the authority for the Ark. Parks & Tourism, city of Ft. Smith, & Sebastian county to bequeath monies to a private endeavor?  Gold & Silver to follow.

The Walton family dumped in $2 million in the last couple of weeks, what do the Walton’s know that F.S. citizens don’t know?  The Walton’s don’t bet on the come.

The proposed Marshall’s Museum has more tentacles than Obamacare.

This endeavor is to form the foundation for for-profit endeavors along the riverfront while citizens subsidize.

Ultimately if the behemoth reaches fruition who will ultimately be at the leadership helm and where does the revenue come from to keep it afloat.  The 3 named individuals know the answer to that conundrum.

By the way Mayor & City Directors, where is the $20 MILLION & counting coming from?
