Bribes to failed “educators”

December 21, 2010

$90 MILLION to the Arkansas teachers & their union, the AEA

The payoff is nothing more than money laundering given to a system that is academically bankrupt, failed in every area, and funded for with printed stolen money that will never be paid back.

When the teachers were advised that their vote-buying bribe, i.e. $700 checks for support of Barack Obama and compliments of the AEA, was in the mail, Arkansas teachers rejoiced like piranhas in a bed of red meat.

The $90 million, alleged to be “stimulus” money and destined for Arkansas teachers, was advertised as a bonus.   A bonus for what?  Running a Keystone Cops operation?  The teachers’ greed overcame any resemblance of alleged professionalism.

A bonus you say?  More than 90% of the students at U of A at Pine Bluff took a remedial course in 2008, 12% at the U of A, Fayetteville, etc.  Factor in if you will the $65 million to teach more than half of Arkansas college students what they SHOULD HAVE LEARNED K-12.  The aforementioned failed students should not be allowed to attend a college or university and should consider vocational training.

If the $90 million vote-buying bribe had been properly administrated it would have paid for 2 school years of remedial education and perhaps would have achieved some good.

Nearly 70% of students need remediation in more than one subject.

This screed is too depressing to continue, and only to say that no educator at any level ever mentions the 25-35 million illegal Mexicans & OTM’s that are devastating our society top down, most particularly education K-12.

So how many Arkansas school districts took the bribe…the $700 payoffs.

One Arkansas legislator had the temerity to ask questions regarding the phantom $90 million and immediately a number of teachers reacted by accusing said legislator of “stealing their Christmas”.

Stimulus Loot Goes to Teachers while millions unemployed

Grand Theft Arkansas Style—in this case the booty goes to the giant welfare protection racket known as public education.

The criminally corrupt Democrat party, under the guise of “stimulus” money, has awarded $90 million to the state’s 239 school districts, which will go for teacher bonuses of $500-$700 each.

Tom Kimbrell, the Education Czar, said “it’s understandable if you are a legislator, having to look at funding education and having to look at the budget next year and the difficulty when there’s $90 million coming into the state that could be used for specific purposes and you can’t give any guidance”. What a crock!  Where is the Chief Marxist, commonly known as Gov. Mike Beebe, and Attorney General Dustin McDaniel in this grave manner?

Kimbrell’s title is Education Commissioner.  With that said, does he have any responsibility?  The best justification regarding the $90 million taxpayer rape that Kimbrell could give was that the money was going to be spent in the state.  So what, and how does he know where it is going to be spent?

When this ill-gotten loot is distributed to alleged teachers, they will, as stated before, be receiving bonuses of $500-700 each.  For what?

Do you believe these failed educators (indoctrinators) are going to give thanks to the producers for their largesse?  No.  I’ll tell you why. Committee Co-chairman Rep. Jonathan Dismang (R-Beebe) said he is concerned that the federal government gave the state little control over how districts spend the money, especially when the state could use the money to fill potential gaps in future education budgets.

Now for the teachers’ response to Rep. Dismang’s questioning of how the $90 million was going to be spent with little or no control.  Here is the teacher response.  Rep. Dismang said he had received letters from teachers accusing him of “STEALING CHRISTMAS”.  This is an example of why public education is such a dismal failure.

Democrat Marxists Beebe and McDaniel are all for continuing to bribe the teacher’s union. This is the same no position that Beebe and McDaniel hold regarding the illegal Mexican invasion and the unconstitutionality of Obamacare.

As long as Arkansas voters continue to vote for the self-serving parasites in office decade after decade, we will continue the free-fall into the abyss.

Each District has the freedom to determine how their “share” of the unearned largesse will be spent. We will keep our eyes fixed on Fort Smith.

Illegal aliens in higher education, still not explained

Dr. Jim Purcell

Director Arkansas Dept. of Higher Education

114 E. Capitol

Little Rock, AR 72201

Dr. Purcell,                                                                                     December 2, 2010

Your non-response to my specific questions regarding the illegal Mexican invasion into the centers of higher education leaves me absolutely aghast. (see Purcell response below) A fellow with a PhD in education and the Director of all the colleges and universities in the state of Arkansas should be capable of addressing pointed questions in an intelligent manner, or perhaps you do not wish to be bothered.

Let me demonstrate.  First of all, I have accused Dr. David Gearhart of lobbying for illegal Mexican aliens based on the following:

1.      The employment of Rafael Arciga, an illegal entrant into the U.S. and through some sleight of hand was made a legal resident, graduated from the U of A, hired by the U of A, and is now lobbying for the DREAM Act in D.C.   Who paid and who is paying?  Who is responsible for the transition from illegal to legal?

2.      Gearhart, in a taxpayer owned airplane, travelled to Little Rock, Ark during the 09 legislative sessions and lobbied for in-state tuition for illegals, Senator Joyce Elliott’s Bill.

Regarding your email of Dec.1, 2010

1.      You stated you would look at the codes I suggested. Further you said “we wish to follow the rule of law”….question, why do you not know the laws governing illegal immigration?

2.      Regarding the 1,768 students, you maintain they are not all illegal residents.  This in itself is an admission that illegals permeate the Arkansas Higher Learning system.  In this same vein, you continue by saying “student (sic) can choose not to use their social security number as their student identification”.  What has this to do with the invalid social security count in the education system?

3.      You state that you follow up with the institutions and ASK to verify their status.  You ask?  Is that all?

You did not address any of the salient questions I posed.  You danced around the questions in typical political/bureaucratic doublespeak, which frankly was not very good.

This sordid behavior by you, Gov. Beebe, A.G. McDaniel, and the whole education community top down is an attack on middleclass Arkansans’ finances and educational opportunities.

I’m asking you again, why are these 1,768 illegal aliens nesting in our university system, who is paying for their tuition and related costs, and as you stated these 1,768 are not all illegal residents…why then are they listed in your own data as having invalid social security numbers and what, if anything, do you, Beebe, McDaniel, Gearhart and the state legislature plan to do about rectifying  this Arkansas travesty?

Corruption abounds in Arkansas state government. The question becomes, what can we citizens do to rid ourselves of the stench that hangs over state government?

Joe McCutchen

arkansasfreedom.net

(Purcell response…..December 1, 2010)

I will take a look at the codes you suggested. We do wish to follow the rule of law.

Please note the 1,768 are not all illegal residents. Student can choose to not use their social security number as their student identification. Many law abiding citizens prefer to have their institution generate a student identification number rather than use the SSN.

That is why we follow up with the institutions and ask them to verify their status. If they determine a student is illegal, the school has the responsibility to be sure they are not receiving state benefits. Currently we consider state benefits as any state financial aid, institutional tuition waivers, or out-of state tuition waivers.

“Education” Cabal & illegal aliens

Lies, flagrant violation of U.S. law—compliments of Univ. of Ark. Chancellor G. David Gearhart, Director of Ark. Dept. of Higher Education, Dr. Jim Purcell,  U.S. Senator Mark Pryor, and the DREAM Act.                                                                                                                November 29, 2010

Re: Gearhart and Purcell:

March 30, 2009 an FOIA request was submitted to Chancellor Gearhart regarding his activities from March 20-25, 2009 pertaining to expenses and more specifically his testimony before the Arkansas Legislature and his connection with Arkansas Bill SB 799.  This bill dealt with giving illegal aliens in-state tuition.  Chancellor Gearhart was flown, at taxpayers’ expense in a University of Arkansas airplane, to Little Rock to testify for passage of the bill offered by Senator Joyce Elliot.

Being euphemistic, it is my opinion that Gearhart’s conduct in this matter was a slam in the collective faces of Arkansas citizens.  Firstly, he tramples the Federal Statute 8 USC & its subsections and further maligns ethical, moral positions by advocating for illegals which shreds the Constitution, the rule of law.  Was he not hired to run the U of A for citizens, not as a lobbyist for illegals?  Is he following the edicts of the Arkansas Friendship Coalition in taking such a taxpayer funded position against citizens by protecting the Coalitions’ corporate and organizational interests?  E.g. Tyson’s, Wal-Mart, Stephens, the Catholic Church, ACLU, LULAC.

August 13, 2010 an FOIA request was submitted to Jim Purcell regarding the number of illegal aliens receiving any form of financial help by any state agency.  His response was NONE.

The real questions become, how many illegal Mexicans and OTM’s are in attendance in the University system statewide and what is the source of their funding?

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Nov. 29, 2010 reports that illegal entrant Rafael Arciga was admitted to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville—a violation of the U.S. Constitution and 8 USC which makes it a felony to aid or abet an illegal alien in any way.  Through some curious manner Arciga was granted legal status and graduated from the U of A last spring. Who granted him legal status and what was the source of funding?

The stunner is the fact Arciga is now employed by the U of A and is lobbying in D.C. for the DREAM Act which grants taxpayer funded scholarships to illegal aliens.  Hard-earned taxpayer dollars at work paying for Arciga’s trip and time in order to increase citizen’s burdens in many ways, and further, as a side issue note Gearhart’s palatial residency and inflated salary. From his cirrus vista, I’m sure Gearhart is shedding buckets of crocodile tears for the illegal nesters.  The points being Politicians & bureaucrats have no limits in their economic exploitation of American taxpayers, in this case Arkansans specifically.

Now comes U.S. Senator Mark Pryor (D-AR), a third generation Pryor languishing on the political dole, who smacks the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law right in the kisser.  In typical Pryor fashion he spins the issue of the DREAM Act in the manner which will be pleasantly digested by naïve citizens—economics vs. the Constitution.

Referencing the DREAM Act and Pryor’s position, he said “it is unfair to offer a Benefit to an alien if they have not been paying a full share of state and federal taxes”.  “You can’t sweep it under the rug, these people are here illegally. A lot of them are not paying into the system like they should”.  Pryor’s position is so pathetic and cowardly that he should be laughed out of the state and senate.  I could accept his position if it was Non Compos Mentis, but he is absolutely aware of his traitorous stance in favor of special interests, absent the Constitution, absent the rule of law and absent regard for taxpaying citizens.

The real position of Sen. Pryor on the matter of the illegal Mexican invasions can be identified in one sentence.  When he was Arkansas’ Attorney General, he and/or his wife hired illegal Mexicans for domestic work, as reported by state newspapers.

What action will present Attorney General Dustin McDaniel take regarding these illegal activities?

Joe McCutchen

P.S.  Quote of the year, which demonstrates why our Republic is disintegrating at such a horrific rate, notwithstanding the above:  Senator “Delta Duchess” Lincoln in the same edition of the DG, “the DREAM Act would not reward illegal conduct”.

Beware universities’ 5 Year Plans!

October 2, 2010                                              Re: Times Record article this date

UAFS (University of Arkansas @ Fort Smith) Chancellor Paul Beran’s—“Five Year Plan” replay (the Communist Manifesto better known now as Globalism?)

Following is the distillation of the component parts of the “Five Year Plan”:

1.      A center for intellectual, artistic, social & cultural advancement.  (Whose social & cultural advancement?)

2.      Maximize citizenship & real-world work.  (pure-bred doublespeak)

3.      Expand the university as a primary contributor to economic development.  (What happened to teaching unrevised American history, American economics (Capitalism), remove the multi-cultural fantasy and reinstall rigorous academic excellence.)

4.      Innovative use of technology.  (Technology is innovative)

5.      Continue to seek & steward resources. ??? (This could mean any number of things detrimental to American culture, e.g. Cap & Trade and extreme environmental controls)

Folks, the genesis of the 5 Year Plan is a D.C. plan contrived to anesthetize lay-citizens and much of the inner circle.  Simply, the bureaucratic jargon listed above is designed to subdue American citizens by creating a setting which instills a fear of appearing stupid by asking questions.

The ethereal 5 Year Plan is designed to give globalists like Beran a mysterious altar which genuflecting citizens do not question.

All universities appear to have 5 Year Plans, designed to erase borders, erase national identities and welcome 3rd Worlders into our society resulting in an Egalitarian culture with politicians  and bureaucrats like Beran running the circus.

All the hogwash in Beran’s 5 Year Plan provides him and his cronies with an unfettered springboard for international travel.

If you are a freedom loving citizen who recognizes the U.S. Constitution, compliments of our beloved Founders, be very wary of politicians and bureaucrats such as Chancellor Paul Beran.

This 5 Year Plan is all about globalism (loss of sovereignty, heritage, culture), control (loss of individual freedoms), expansion (ever more power), and funding (forced redistribution via taxation)…all subsidized by the victims….Mr. & Mrs. Producing American Citizens.

Kindest regards,

Joe McCutchen

Globalist, Egalitarian University Training vs mastering academics

Chancellor Paul Beran, the UAFS Minister of Illusion.                                     August 31, 2010

The University of Arkansas of Fort Smith Chancellor Paul Beran and his UAFS “Five Year Plan” (reminiscent of the old Soviet Union Politburo’s transmitted via Fort Smith’s own Pravda?)

August 20, 2010 Beran unveiled a “Five Year Plan” for UAFS, a product of globalist interests parroting the U. N’s Agenda 21, emanating from our nation’s capitol.

A distilled version on the “Five Year Plan” is right out of the globalist playbook. The Chancellor titled, or maybe not, the “Five Year Plan” containing “Six Pillars” and there are 24 separate initiatives and 100 breathtaking action items. What are they? Understand that the 5 year scheme, replete with doublespeak explanations, are designed not to be understood by lay citizens, but the semantics he puts forward are absolutely understood by globalist bureaucrats and politicians. Here they are:

  1. Develop as a center for intellectual, artistic and social, cultural advancement. (?)
  2. Maximize citizenship and real-world work and application experiences. (?)
  3. Solidify and expand the University’s position as a primary contributor to economic development. (?)  (Since when is that a proper function of education?)
  4. Lead in the innovative use of technology.  (?)  Simply put, it’s “Global Sharing”.  Beran refers to this as international distance-learning.
  5. Promote global learning initiatives. (?)
  6. Continue to seek and steward resources.  (?)  (Translation: North Little Rock Mayor Hayes’s International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI)  aka stack ‘em & pack ‘em, more commonly known as “Sustainable Development” all a part of the U.N.’s Agenda 21)

Beran continues his globalist attack on America by stating that his “Five Year Plan” will deepen international ties and programs. (President George Washington admonished NO foreign entanglements) Observe what our elected & hired fools are doing in this regard.  All Beran’s bloviating, on a personal level, sets the stage for he and his cabal to operate an international travelogue he has perfected, replete with a country club setting.  With every breath Beran is selling out the American Rugged Individual Dream for a stake in Globalism.  On multiple occasions Chancellor Beran has mentioned Agenda 21, Sustainable programs, and Quality of Place which, by the way, are already deeply entrenched in much of our state. The UAFS is responsible for “cultural and educational training and being the Quality of Place connection” for economic development, so says Beran. There is a grand gulf between cultural and educational training and actual Teaching.  Explain Chancellor, what does “cultural training” encompass?

Beran champions his travels to the Orient and singles out China and Japan, among others, as fertile ground for him and his handlers to cultivate the movement of global corporations to the United States.

A few points that Beran and his globalist buddies are not pointing out to the citizens who are subsidizing his nefarious adventures.

  1. The U.S. Dollar has been the global peg currency, i.e. the International Standard trading instrument.
  2. The Chinese Dollar is becoming the International Standard currency.
  3. U.S. banks are now using the Chinese Dollar when trading internationally.
  4. The idea that a company can no longer make it without being connected internationally is the same idea Globalists have been preaching to our children as far back as 1994, via government schools, or maybe before, e.g. “one of the outcomes the children have to understand that we are globally interconnected and can no longer make it on our own as a country”…compliments of Clinton’s Outcome-Based education, followed by Bush’s No Child Left Behind. These indoctrination programs have academically seduced at least 2 generations of Americans and the most traumatic one is public school teachers who are victims of the same system and most do not know any better.

As Beran knowingly or unknowingly continues his globalist traitorous assaults on our sovereignty by bringing in foreign national businesses and most particularly referencing the Communist Chinese, who are certainly not our friends and are coming here strictly for industrial espionage. As a side note, foreign national corporations are in no way obligated to hire American citizens for the businesses they bring here.

Chancellor Beran has defined the word oxymoron.  On the one hand he is hailing his international exploits when in actuality he’s aiding in the destruction of our nation and citizenry making us no more than a 3rd World dumping ground, while on the other side of the coin he states emphatically that he and the UAFS are championing entrepreneurship.  The Chancellor can’t have it both ways. This endeavor can only be defined as Marxist Communism because entrepreneurs are self-taught, not mass-produced in a university setting and cannot flourish in that type of environment.

He either is now or has been the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Innovation & Entrepreneur Center, an organization which allegedly develops initiatives to promote, grow, and stimulate entrepreneurialism. The way to promote, grow and stimulate entrepreneurs is to leave them alone.

Chancellor Beran speaks about his efforts in persuading Mitsubishi Power System to locate in Fort Smith in the near future.  Beran continues his bloviating about how many Japanese families will emigrate to Fort Smith and all of the accompanying services to be heaped upon these families.  So the questions are, what was the price paid to stimulate Mitsubishi to consider moving here, what price to keep them once entrenched and who pays and how much?  Why weren’t American windmill companies recruited to expand into the Fort Smith market?

To give taxpaying citizens some idea of the broad scope of Beran and his handlers creations, here are some of the countries “interconnected” to UAFS—Viet Nam, Brazil, Argentina, China, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Japan, England, Trinidad, Bulgaria and Greece. Has Chancellor Beran visited all these countries?

Chancellor Beran, you are an integral part of the movement designed to change the face of the United States of America from a sovereign country to a multicultural gulag, orchestrated by a Marxist Communist President Obama and his predecessors.

The primary function of all U.S. education is to TEACH…our TRUE history, our heritage, our culture, Western Civilization, non-revisionist core subjects…all with rigorous expectations of merit and excellence.  The Egalitarian approach to education (bringing everybody down to the same level) is the hallmark of tyranny, whether Communist, Fascist, Dictatorship, et al.

Kindest regards,

Joe McCutchen

Education is a racket 2

April 18, 2010

Is it corruption, hubris, or otherwise at University of Arkansas at Fort Smith (UAFS)? (A mere microcosm of a dysfunctional top-down government education system)

Today’s Times Record reported that Prof. Jay Casey was languishing at a London airport until volcanic dust dissipates.  It is said that Prof. Casey was in Wales attending a conference. Another example of gross abuse of producers’ earnings. In this digital/technological age, what is the purpose behind expensive personal trips?

As noted in my email of Friday, April 16th, Chancellor Beran’s asking for and receiving a 6.9% increase in tuition, one wonders what percent of this tuition increase is funneled into Beran’s and his aspiring, elitist staff’s exorbitant and unneeded interstate and global travel extravaganzas.

For those who did not read that email, I’m including it because it sheds light on Beran and his enablers spending cabal.

Education has deteriorated into nothing more than a top-down brainwashing cabal.

For those elected officials who have dumped 10’s of millions into UAFS, might reverse their practices and become better acquainted with UAFS’s spending habits, you know, accountability. Most particularly the funding for the travel factory.

I do find humor in one of the excuses regarding the 6.9% increase that being what kind of degree the UAFS gives for the completion of their truck driving school.  Ah yes, there’s all those “free” flu shots, certainly a function of education, would you say?

As long as boobus Americanus sit on their butts, the Berans of the world will continue to make fools of the payers.

Education is a racket

University of Arkansas Fort Smith Chancellor Paul Beran, the expansionist Czar in full bloom.

Before Paul Beran arrived in Fort Smith he was a low level bureaucrat, but nevertheless a bureaucrat.  Since his arrival Beran has hit the mother lode of parasitism and expenditures. Understand that bureaucrats have absolutely no understanding regarding the creation and sustaining of jobs.  What they do know, as is the case with Beran, is the “go to” for funding and the ever expansionist mantra, i.e. spending other people’s money with little or no oversight, except for the insiders.

Pols and bureaucrats live in an insular culture of self-serving parasitism, financed by the producers.

Beran’s insatiable global and interstate travel habits, not unlike 3rd District Congressman John Boozman, is in sync and  accompanied by UAFS’s explosive expansionist building projects with little emphasis on academics. Observe: UAFS’ Truck Driving School…this is a college course?  In that regard, Arkansas taxpayers are subsidizing a commercial driving school at UAFS, and Arkansas State University–Newport. This obviously benefits two of the nation’s largest trucking companies. JB Hunt Transport Inc. and ABF Freight Systems Inc.  Forbes.com states JB Hunt had sales of $3.8 billion in 2008. Why should taxpayers subsidize any truck driving school? Truck driving schools are the brainchild of Gov. Mike Beebe. $200,000 went to the Arkansas State school in his hometown.

Note for example Chancellor Beran’s asking for a 6.9% increase in tuition with the disclaimer that it’s less than other colleges are charging.  Aside from the fact that we are in a global depression, this man just keeps his snout in the trough.  This coupled with his very recent safari to D.C. seeking $28 million, but as pols and bureaucrats like to bloviate–hey, “it’s fed money, doesn’t cost us anything”. They are partially right, 47% of Americans pay no federal income taxes.

Take note that there’s never any reduction in the size of government and expansionist project plans fail to include cost of maintenance, etc.

I never see any emphasis placed on academics or accountability in the teaching fields.

As long as we simpletons sit on our collective butts, Beran and his enablers are going to continue to use the taxpayers as punching bags and enjoy their elitist lifestyle with no accountability to the public who pays their bills.

By the way the Times Record newspaper is paralyzed when it comes to investigative reporting and never any meaningful editorials, just political correctness nonsense and even those editorials are rare birds.

Teaching individuals how to be entrepreneurs or truck drivers and building fancy edifices is not education. No wonder the U.S. is 17th in education globally.

Chancellor Beran is a poster child for the government employee protection racket.

Joe McCutchen

Not to make an ongoing serial regarding ESL, which was contrived specifically for illegal aliens, my question is simply how many illegals are enrolled in ESL at ASU? Under legitimate circumstances students would be enrolled in traditional 103a English designed for citizens and exchange students.

Dr. Wyatt,

A Democrat-Gazette article Saturday, April 3, 2010 stated that ASU conducts an English as a Second Language program.

I believe a detailed explanation regarding ESL is due, recalling particularly some of your statements pertaining to illegal Mexican aliens and OTM’s during past discussions dealing with scholarships to illegals.

Naturalization requires that the individual, before becoming a citizen, has a reasonable command of the English language, therefore my question to you is simply, is ASU accepting foreign national illegals?

I will appreciate a detailed account regarding the legality of said students enrolled in ESL, method of payment and by whom?

Corruption in our government schools/lie/cheat/steal

Casual Corruption…this time “education”.

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette headline 1/13/10:      58 schools inflated grades in math

Just think, a system had to be implemented to catch schools’
cheating on their students’ scores, but once caught, no heads roll.  At least those students aren’t supposed to
receive the Arkansas Lottery Scholarships—but who knows?

The very idea schools are cheating is outrageous enough, the
fact there are no real consequences is criminal.  Who can have confidence in anything the
educantists say?

Their crimes are many: Stealing knowledge from pupils; robbing
society of educated citizens; teaching a rotten lesson that truth, merit and
hard work are no longer worthy goals; instilling the idea that the ends justify
the means, i.e. corruption is quite okay.

The media is complicit in this racket by reporting the
schools’ corruption in a casual manner too.

Some blame goes to the horrific No Child Left Behind fiasco,
but that’s no excuse.  Where are the complaints
and outrage of academia and parents? Why aren’t Fed funds rejected, they are
insignificant anyway, demonstrating many are willing to sell their souls for a
mess of potage.

Officials blame facilities (one-room schools managed)
instead of revised dumbed-down curriculum dictated by D.C. bureaucrats, always demanding
more funding.

Pity the ignorant, propagandized, semi-literate children whose
futures have been hijacked and thus the entire Constitutional system of
individual rights and responsibilities.

Public education today is as corrupt and unaccountable as
the rest of government, perhaps more. Treating corruption casually, with no consequences
is our death knell.
